It makes no sense whatsoever ? You can go 100 miles out of town to some little bullshit speck on a map, like Beatty, and it's legal and regulated...

Vegas is SIN city, it's crawling with hos, they wait at elevators in classier casinos, the video poker bars , they're there, the common streetwalkers, and everything in between.

A city with 24 hour liquor and gambling, legal pot, more hookers than any 10 states combined, legal outside of Clark county.

How can you ignore this and just let Metro deal with it ?

Tax it, regulate it, it's like almost as synonymous to Vegas as a video poker machine.

You can't walk down the strip without some beaner/ bum type guy handing you an ad for a hooker.

Vegas has no culture or historical importance, it's a piece of shit nothing town that has no cultural importance and only exists since the Hoover dam was built in the 1930's

Don't pretend it's something it isn't.

It's a shithole,a good place to spend a weekend and have some fun, then go home to LA or somewhere.

I know the city, lived there for 6 years. The only reason I'd ever consider moving back is the low cost of living , good dining and entertainment option
Ns, and agreeable enough weather, lack of insects, not for the gambling !

Seriously they need to control the prostitution thing, not by fruitlessly trying to eliminate it, but license , regulate, and tax it. It is so Vegas !

It's a city with like 150,000 hotel rooms, more than any city in the world, probably more prostitutes than any other city as well !

The point isn't about the morality behind it !

It exists and thrives in this one US city, don't try try try to eradicate it, regulate, tax, and license it instead... it's Like your signature product , right up there with a buffet with all you can eat crab legs !

You can't just sweep it under the rug, it's too big !

Address the issue in an intelligent manner !

Your rant does not seem to have a point. You say Las Vegas has more prostitutes than any other city but it bothers you that it is not legal. Does it make you feel uncomfortable that it is illegal and not legal? Would you feel better seeing that girl at the bar knowing she is doing business legally? Explain please.

Yeah make it totally legal, regulated and taxed, I'm saying Nationwide, but of all American cities, Vegas where everything goes should be legal.

The one thing I like best about Vegas, is the city constantly reinvents itself.

I was there when you could still drive down Fremont to Main, witnessed the implosion of the Landmark hotel, went to the original Wetnwild park on the South strip.

Vegas is willing to try anything at all !

They even tried to be be family friendly for awhile...

Ridiculous idea, it ain't Disneyworld in Orlando !

I've seen so many crazy ideas tried there.

One of my favorites is the bicycle powered pedicab thing ( like it's Honolulu ), on the LV strip in heavy traffic, you couldn't pay enough to ride in that, it didn't last long...

They will trytrytry anything and just blow it up if it fails !

What I dislike about Vegas is the practice of fleecing tourists with ridicurous hidden fees for parking, resort fees, 6:5 Blackjack, shit like that

I very much like the grid city concept... You can tell in an instant where a location is, ok 3700 west whatever boulevard or 3300 East, you have a dn good idea where that is and many routes to get there. No Eastern city is anything like that, especially Boston... That place is a nightmare for driving !

It is essentially legal there as its tolerated and swept under the rug. I would not want to see whore houses on the Vegas strip. That would not be a good look for the city

Metro can still interfere and kind of ruin the life of John from Seattle or anywhere, it would never be right on the strip, that real estate is far too valuable, more like on Industrial or anywhere East or West of the strip by a few kilometers, as long as it's not in Northtown !

I live in Las Vegas and I am not a big fan of legal prostitution. I don't see what problem is solves but I can see the problems it will cause. Hookers are there if you want them but they do get like the casinos and try to fleece people (tourist or not). My friend came to town and talked to one at a casino bar. She wanted $200 for a BJ.@):mad:You can't be serious.

Plenty of working girls right under the canopy once the crowds die down (2am to 3am)...Not the $200 variety but if you are looking for a quick fix to your manly needs they are plenty cute enough...All sizes, colors and ages available...Just be patient and hang by the late night street performers and they will slide up to you...Just start a conversation and you are "in"....

Prostitution is legal in Nevada but not in Las Vegas itself. So there’s houses right outside the city.

I have no plans of using one, just think it should be be legal in that city , of all places !

What would Mr. Trump use as a word to describe our fine illegal Southern Invaders ?

I live here too...just take your sorry ass to one of about a thousand massage parlors in the city. Everyone knows what goes on there, but you do have to leave the hotel. Prostitution will be legal soon enough taking the same path as weed and for the same reason...taxes.

Its the Amsterdam Effect. Making it legal and all kinds of connectors are going to get attached to this place. Triple so since weed is legal now. The place closet to me is constantly packed with tourist. I will add some years ago now someone found a loophole in the law and there were hookers lined up from here to eternity right off Dean Martin and Tropicana. An easy would happen again. A Red light district like Mayor Goodman One wanted would make it worse.

Thats why.
