can't wait for this game and it's such a huge matchup for only week 2
texas looks for real with ehlinger who is a legit dark horse heisman candidate imo

everyone loved lsu's uptempo pace on offense
defense is superb as usual
i'm big on lsu with a future on them making the playoffs

i like lsu -3.5 but i also hate betting against strong dogs (texas 10-2-1 ATS as underdog)

Biggest game at UT that I can remember. GOODYEAR Blimp tix are $315. I trust our UT squad as much as I trust UNT.

Can’t wait for the Cajuns to show us how to tailgate. BOL this season gents.

One team is over rated and the other Ain't

Just look at the front 7 of both teams lines...…….

This is going to be a great game. A Texas win will certainly give the Big 12 some credibility when it comes to who gets a ticket to the playoff.

LSU returns 8 starters on each side of the ball.[/QUOTE

teams that returneed 15+ starters were < 50% in week 1 ATS
teams that returned 10 or less starters were > 50%

teams have backups that played extensively the year before that are now the new starter, so they aren't unfamiliar with the game.

Herman as an underdog at Texas, Houston and as an asst at tOSU is a great bet on.
also 11-1 under last 12 as an underdog as head coach.

should be a great game.

LSU given an 80% chance of winning Saturday. http://www.espn.com/college-football/team/fpi?id=99&year=2019

Even though the Longhorns only lost one of four potential early entrants to the NFL, the loss of five starters on offense and eight starters on defense has left head coach Tom Herman’s program near the bottom of the FBS in Bill Connelly’s returning production metric. In fact, Texas ranks No. 121 nationally, behind Georgia Tech and Wyoming and in front of Middle Tennessee and South Alabama. The reason? The Longhorns return 57 percent of all production on offense (No. 88 nationally), as gauged by the metric, but return only 40 percent of the production defensively (No. 123 nationally).

line is now -5 at justbet

Texas rookie starting RB (Whittington) is out. Whittington was originally the 3d string RB before the two ahead where hurt before the season started).. They only have 1 RB left ( and a back up QB who just moved to RB less than 2 weeks ago). Good Luck with that.

But. Texass promised they were back.. LOL

This will be a fun game to watch. I can't find any edge to bet on. The models have it as 31-28 LSU. Too close to tease either side, seems like a fumble or Int separate these two. The books have it LSU by 4.5. If anything I'd tease that number higher to make LSU earn it, +11.5 Texas. The O/U is 55, if anything I'd be tempted to tease that lower and take the over, however it's moved up from 52. Both teams are packed with serious D1 talent. This comes down to coaching as I see it, who can get the most from their squad. I'm not sure LSU coaching can hold a lead by 11 1/2 over Texas on the road.

LSU should control the game, win by 2 TD's.

Texas is solid and on the rise, next year they are in the hunt, but now are a little green in some positions.

This is LSU's year, already, now.
