They must be superior to those in the US..How long have they been without power and phones still working...I want that type..

Everyone I know is the US has backup battery packs. I'm sure in places where there are hurricanes coming people make sure they phones and battery backups are fully charged. I'd be able to go weeks with just two lithium battery backups that weigh less then 5 lbs combined.

or they simply shut their phones off to save their batteries

I'm sure battery packs sold out while the storm was approaching

Stupid me,,, went to walmart today and bought a battery pack... It doesn't fit my LG Exalt flip phone... Guess I'l have to spend DOUBLE at Verizon if it exists at all.
