Houston already has 90 wins and the Mariners might be lucky to make to 65. It is no surprise that Seattle has lost 7 straight to Houston and 9 of 10. They are just over matched and sunk hard after a positive start. Following two stellar outings, Marco Gonzales who starts for Seattle ( 14-11, 4.30 ERA, 128 SO ) wasn’t able to duplicate his success for a third straight start. The Rangers were able to string hits together off Gonzales, scoring six runs on seven hits.Miley, on the mound for the Stro's ( 13-4, 3.06 ERA, 134 SO ) is 7-0 with a 2.44 ERA in his last 12 starts, with the Astros going 10-2 in those games. He's 7-1 with a 2.22 ERA in 12 starts at home this year with a 1.07 WHIP. This will be Miley's fifth start of the season against the Mariners. The fact that Wade Miley is on the hill means we are not going to get a crazy stupid ML on this one. Miley is loving his Houston renaissance with his best record and lowest ERA if things hold....
