I'm usually a pretty disciplined gambler, but once in a while, I just feel like gambling.
I have a ~$400 balance at Chumba Casino online, and they give you $1 free every day, which requires a 1x play-through.
I visited Mr. Martingale this morning (like an idiot) at the BJ table.
$1 bet - loss
$2 bet (double down) - loss
$6 bet - loss
$12 bet - loss
$25 bet - loss
$50 bet - loss
$100 bet - loss
$200 bet - 12 against a 2 showing. Hit... get a 4 for 16. Stay. Dealer shows face underneath for hard 12, and pulls another face. Nice.
This is more fun at a craps table but I sat in South Point during last night's Lakers game, I couldn't resist. After listening to the crowd cheer at every basket the Lakers made for an entire half, I had to bet the Rockets -2.5 as they trailed 16 at halftime. Both the crowd and I cashed tickets as Rockets made the standard NBA run and covered the second half and the Lakers covered the whole game line.
That's easy. Follow Jack Winningham and only bet his plays. A $1,000 bettor would be up over $30,000 since January if you were to play only his plays.
Bet the over on fake posts xgaf posts. It’s a lock
Your gut can be more powerful then any stat or team history
Don’t gamble on anything but yourself 💯
Proper money management.
Funniest is 15-20 minutes before a game, sometimes a poster will put up a post "too much love for ---- ----" like he is some kind of genius, so he fades that team.
"That team" usually covers.
Timing. Betting at the moment your side is getting its best number is more important than line shopping.
Have as many outs as you possibly can and use them all to make sure you have the best line. If you do this and this alone you can win at sports betting.
On baseball totals of 7 1/2 - 8, the line for run in 1st inning should be around Even money. On high profile games, such as ESPN Sunday night and the playoffs, you will find enormous value taking the Yes on this proposition wager, as No bettors drive up the Yes prices to +125 or more. I discuss this, and also other ways I win at sports betting, in my new book "20/20 Sports Betting: Think Like a Pro" which is now available on Amazon.com
Be careful:
"I accidentally bet USC instead of UConn last nightNot the first time I clicked the wrong team.FUCK!"
Fade the money if you can get good data on it. Money management. Listen to your gut. For example if you see a game that just naturally jumps off the page without looking or researching play it.
Fade the public, follow the sharps.
