Reds Mahle is a disgusting 1-12 on the road in Reds starts this year. He did win his last start. Cubs and Lester are 11-4 in his home starts this year. Line should be 3-1 here. Lester gave up 8 and 4 earned runs in his last 2 starts. Look for a goos start here from him. Might have to sweat this game out as I see it is most likely a low scoring game but can't resist the odd in favor of the Cubs

Big series upcoming. Cubs need this series here. Hendricks is 9-4 in Cubs starts at home giving up 1 earned run in each of his last 3 starts. After Flaherty went 12 straight not giving up more than 2 earned runs he gave up 3. He is 6-8 on the road in Cardinals starts. I look for Flaherty to be a bit shakey. I only hope the Cubs didn't strain their arms and can't hit anymore after scoring over 13 runs a game in the first game of the Reds series and those against the Pirates. The past two they have score 2 a game. I will take a shot with Cubs
