Discuss the above. Why not spike it and take the time to run a planned play with five seconds left? Hell, why not clean up the penalties? Virginia left that game on the table if FSU wanted to go for it.

I have officially hit the apathy stage with this program. UVA did everything they could on last drive to hand us the game, but Taggart was not having it. He is a dumb coach, hence we are a dumb team that can't get out of our own way. He is literally teaching us how to lose, and being paid handsomely for it.

sometimes you just have to bite the bullet for the sake of the program. dump the guy asap and move on.. I think its a quicker rebound from these disasters for upper tier programs

Agreed. Cut your losses and hit reset button. But our athletic Dept is so poorly managed, we will do nothing of the sort. Meanwhile, boosters will continue reign in their financial support, putting the ability to afford the firing further out of reach. WT on sidelines is creating a negative loop.

How is the fanbase down in Tallahassee right now? Do you think he survives the season...they need to make a move before recruits start tuning FSU out

I think Willie is a very good recruiter.

Just cant coach

You won't get much sympathy when you claimed he was a great hire for Florida State
when they hired the clown.

FSU is a straight up mess. They can't afford to fire them. they have no money and the attendance is the worst it has been in decades. Central Florida would destroy them despite the fact that FSU will always get the higher rated recruiting class. Taggert was never going to be a good power 5 coach. charley Strong the same. Everyone excited because they beat a real nothing small school program with a their backup QB who got a promotion . Next time they play a conference game against a real opponent, they will get bitch slapped again!

A Florida State booster and his young son are trying a unique tactic to wash out the Willie Taggart era from the Seminoles' football program.

Grayton Grant, 4, set up a "Free Willie" lemonade stand in Tallahassee on Sunday that charged $20 per cup to raise funds toward Taggart's $17 million buyout.
:missingte

The effort raised $241 -- including $100 from one person -- that will be matched by Grayton's father, Daniel Grant. Grant plans to send a $482 check to Seminoles Boosters Inc. on Monday.

The check also includes a typed note signed by Grayton that says, "I am tired of losing football games and being made fun of at school for being a Seminole fan. At four, I am already starting to gravitate towards the color orange. You don't want that for an innocent kid like me."

(in the meantime, keep fading FSU!)

Willie reminds me of Ed O from LSU, I want them on my staff to recruit as they get players. I just don't want them anywhere near the sideline on game day making decisions. Eddie at least was smart for now to get out of the way when it comes to the offense.

Jim Leavitt was added as a "consultant" end of last week, so only observed last Saturday. He is now at practices, hear is already making changes, moving players around. Barnett is finished, will be gone at end of year, if not sooner. Defense has been an abomination under Barnett, does not know how to coach 3-4 scheme. Leavitt will have these guys in better position to get off of the field. Taggart is NOT an X's & O's guy, but neither is Dabo. We can't afford to fire him and staff. Taggart needs to adopt CEO model, surround himself with great assistants and focus on recruiting. Have also heard that he hasn't been tough enough on players, trying to be their friend instead of projecting authority.

FSU trying to be politically correct by hiring a minority coach has bit them bad. He never was qualified for the job to begin with. Sad to see such a rich program crash and burn like this.

Only teams I would have on that list would be Clemson Ohio St Alabama Oklahoma Central Florida. Record wise they have been tearing it up the last few years, LSU. Auburn not so much
