Entering their second seasons as starters, Jackson and Mahomes are the hottest quarterbacks in the NFL right now. They are the only quarterbacks of the Super Bowl era to have recorded above a 70 percent completion rate, seven touchdowns and zero interceptions over the first two games of a season.

Their 14 combined touchdown passes without an interception are the second-most in NFL history heading into a quarterback matchup, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. It trails only Fran Tarkenton and Craig Morton in 1969 (18 touchdown passes, 0 interceptions combined heading into Week 6 meeting).

maybe.. but Jackson probably won't be around for it.. not sure if you're basing it all on that or not

Not a believer in Lamar Jackson. Don't say its because he's black because I like Brissett and Watson a lot.

Lamar Jackson getting too much hype.

Lol, too much hype? Were you living under a rock the past two years?

Very few people thought he could play QB at this level. Just because the past two weeks he goes off and it’s too much hype now? That doesn’t make any sense. What about the last two years?

Brissett has a strong arm. I have always liked him. But Lamar Jackson is 10x better overall

You like to argue, don't ya?

His 5 TD performance vs Miami got a lot of hype. He's now a fantasy darling in a lot of eyes. A lot of those passes in the MIAMI game were to wide open WRs.

Lmfao. “he’s now a fantasy darling.” Well, yes. Have you seen Michael Vick play? Lmfao. I don’t understand your statements.

You say he’s getting too much hype because hes a fantasy darling....but he was 30+ points in b2b games. Why wouldn’t he be? But you like Brissett better lol. This guy. I don’t really care what your opinion is, I just know you sound like an idiot. You guys make me seem like I have tomorrow’s newspapers in these debates

Just funny to me how many horrific QBs there are...and we are saying this guy can’t play. That’s asinine to me

I'm still not sold on Lamar Jackson either. He has been impressive and I think he will put up good numbers again this week.

Although after this week is when I see him starting to struggle. He will be up against better defenses and they will be doing more game prep against him. If he can adapt to the defenses that strategize against his "new" skill set, then I'll be impressed.

Lamar vs Mahomes could be the new Brady vs. Manning rivalry but we are way too early to anoint them the next rivalry as was GOAT vs. Peyton Manning. That's like calling Giannis and Embiid the new Jordan vs. Bird

mobb, lets revisit this in the future. Lamar is a C+ B- QB to me. People talking like hes B+ A-.

Lets see in a year or when he gets exposed in the playoffs, AGAIN.

Was this meant to say Chiefs/Patriots rivalry? If that

I guess Chiefs and Ravens can battle it out for second best AFC team if Baltimore is really that legit

I think we are underestimating his versatility and how they can gameplan for defenses. They are going to be very very hard to prepare for. Just being real. I felt that from the start of the year mostly because of his versatility. He fixed his feet and that’s been the biggest difference. It will take at least another off season for defenses to make strides at slowing him down. But he will also keep improving in ways too

We’ll see Sunday. Their first ever game between the two QBs last year was an instant classic
