  • Oakland Raiders vs. Minnesota Vikings 1:pm game
  • Minnesota Vikings should be able to win this one convincingly as long as Kirk Cousins keeps it together. Minnesota has the biggest play-maker on either side in Dalvin Cook, who should put up another 100+ yard rushing performance. The Raiders defense enters Sunday in a state of flux, exacerbated by injuries. You can’t be blamed if you don’t trust Kirk Cousins under center yet, especially after he threw 2 picks last week to his one touchdown against rival Green Bay Packers and only completed 14-of-32 for a lousy completion percentage of 43.75. But despite that, his Vikings are 1-1 and with on-fire running back Dalvin Cook will most likely add another win to that total at home against these up-and-mostly-down Oakland Raiders, a team that seems incapable of any kind of momentum under the dramatic leadership of head coach Jon Gruden. Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has been a juggernaut against the spread in his tenure. Statistically he is the best coach in the league against the spread, hitting at almost a 65% clip. I was taking the Vikings based off the power ratings alone but, it certainly doesn’t hurt when you have the best coach ATS in the league on your side.

  • New Orleans Saints vs. Seattle Seahawks [ 425:pm est game]
The Seahawks offense is okay and is up against a Saints defense that racks up sacks, but Wilson is still mobile enough to maybe escape one or two of them this week.
  • I’m rolling with Seattle to cover the spread on Sunday. People are talking about the Saints offense and how they will survive without Brees, but they weren’t all that good when he was taking snaps. So having Bridgewater behind center isn’t going to add to the offensive woes, only highlight them. Seattle has played well enough to win games and with a week four showdown with the Rams, having a 3-0 record going into that matchup is what Seattle really wants. According to B&Rs Sports NFL News [Information] In the Seahawks’ first two games, they have smothered their opponents’ rushing attacks. The Bengals struggled for only 34 yards on 14 attempts. The Steelers managed to gain 81 yards and a touchdown. Three defenders, linebackers Bobby Wagner and Mychal Kendricks plus defensive end Quinton Jefferson, each have recorded two tackles for a loss. Branden Jackson, Jadeveon Clowney and Poona Ford have registered one apiece.
There hasn’t been much line movement from the start of this one, as books had the knowledge of Drew Brees being out. Seahawks sit as four point favorites, without Brees, this should be a clear cut win for Seattle. The Power Rating for week #3 Seattle 94.0 Home Rating to Saints 88.0 Road Rating >> Seattle +6. The -$210 moneyline will be bet for a press with Rams money line bet also taking the four points here as Seattle should control this game and the Saints will have a tough time scoring on the road against this defense without their starting quarterback. The Seahawks offense also looked a lot better last week.
Seahawks -4 Points Bet 5X [ Hundred Dollar Units + Juice] & Added Bet 3X [ Hundred Dollar Units] Money Line-$210 Hawks >> Press if win with Money Line -$180 Rams-3X [Hundred Dollar Units + 1 Unit

  • Los Angeles Rams vs. Cleveland Browns [ 8:30 pm est
  • Browns were absolutely crushed in week 1 by the Titans and took down the Jets in week 2 who were essentially playing most of that game with their 3rd string QB in who hasn’t had much if any time practicing with the first team offense. The Browns have a lot of individual talent, but we’ve yet to see them really gel together and show signs of being a cohesive unit from top to bottom. Los Angeles is the better team here and I think they win this one by at least a touchdown, so I’ll lay the points with the Rams here. One big addition from late last season is the return of wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who went down in Week 10 with a knee injury and missed the rest of the 2018 campaign. Kupp is leading the team with 12 receptions for 166 yards but Goff is impressed with the entire wide receiver group.
The Rams may have gotten a winning fortitude a bit in the Saints game for not facing Drew Brees for an entire game (Brees exited with an injury), but they still have enough talent and depth to slow down any given opposing offense. That includes the Browns’ attack. The Rams are ninth in the league with 18.0 points and eighth with 293.5 total yards allowed per game. The Browns did a nice job of taking advantage of a great situation against the Jets in Week 2. Cleveland won’t have that luxury in Week 3, as the Rams are surging to a solid start. The Browns average 80 more penalty yards per game than the Rams. This is equivalent to Cleveland giving the Browns 8 first downs to start the game also consider Cleveland had a short week. Look for Todd Gurley to have a big game in this one. McVay and the Rams against the Browns should be a winning proposition. Look for LA to win the game and easily cover the 3 points. Power Rating Rams Road Rams 94.0 To Browns Home Rating 88.0 >+6 Rams.
Current money Line is Rams -$180> Press if win with Money Line -$210 with Hawks > My Bet Rams-3X [Hundred Dollar Units + 1 Unit with the press.

Nice picks Harry Good luck this weekend.

Quick question on your press bet again. Do you place an if bet with both games or do you place the first bet if that wins then place the second bet?
Or is this just a straight up if win bet from one bet to the other?

Thanks again...

Yes I realize T Hawk thats little confusing when you use Bob Martins Money Management on presses. You can press a win on money lines to money lines, point spread to point spreads, point spreads to moneylines..Money Line-$210 to win $100 Hawks 3X [ Two Hundred Dollar Units] If Win laying -$1260 to win $660 [ 4:25 pm est game ] >> Press to Money $660 win + One Unit $100 to
$770 +Rams-3X -$540 = laying -$1310 to win $800 and change.[8:30 pm est] *As you also notice that I bet Hawks -4 for $550

Yes T Hawk> your laying money all the way !!! The only problem is you have win really 2 bets straight up without giving up points. But look at the return laying $1310 to win $800. Yes it's a gamble my friend but with the right percentage of margin of money laid with the right handicapping theory? on all games played on Sunday. I like my odds on my press.

Sound logic Harry. BOL on your plays.

I find Zimmer a bit too conservative. But with capt. Kirk, maybe 10 passes makes sense. Plus I think Oak's underrated, so pass for me.

I'm with you on Sea.

Due the fact that lost my Seattle bets both -4 line bet and the money line bet for the press. I still like my 3rd choice with the Rams. Money line has moved to -$210 and bet will be Rams -$1680 to win $800.
