Thank you Pittsburgh. Now we do not have to listen to UCF telling everyone how they belong in the playoff. Agreed you might be able to beat one power five team per year. But when you have to play them week after week it is a different story. UCF just does not have the depth that it takes to to compete for an entire year. This showed up this week when playing a power five team for the second week in a row, and neither one of these teams were ranked.

To hell it's not...this is a school that claims championships without winning them!!

No it is time for ucf to shut up. They play a weak schedule and talk a lot of shit. They lost to an average team at best.

UCF has every right to talk shit in 2017 and 2018 and demand that they should have made the CFP.

However, since they lost this weekend, they dont deserve to make the CFP.

Funny. In 2016, Clemson lost at home to PITT by 1 pt and they won the national championship....

They are not even the best team in Florida and I am not on this board talking about how the Gators should be playing for the national championship because I am sure that they will lose some games this year. They talked a lot of shit. I am not anti-UCF but you can't beat up on weak teams every week and lose to one of them.

They are without a doubt the best team in Florida.

I'm pretty sure any and all of those Florida teams can get games scheduled with UCF, but they won't

The difference is if the gators go undefeated this season, they WILL make the CFP due to being a P5 school (especially in the overrated SEC)

Best team in Florida? Its either UCF or the gators. We can check back after the gators play Auburn, LSU, and Georgia (probably the only 3 tough games on their schedule this season). I dont blame the gators b/c they also played miami and fsu this season but neither team happens to be that great this season.

I think UCF had a very valid argument to make the CFP last season and would have had a VERY valid argument for 2019 had they ran the table (which they wont). After last years' semifinals games with both Clemson and Bama winning by blowouts, would having UCF in the game make any difference? Here you have a "cinderella" (who is loved in march madness) playing against a blue blood. If they win, the fans get excited. If they get their asses kicked, the haters are happy. Wouldnt SEC fan been more excited last season to watch Bama kick the snot out of UCF rather than Oklahoma? Even UCF fan would have been fine with it

Hold on, the gators wouldn't agree to play in ucfs tiny stadium. I guess the gators won't schedule out of conference games? Oops, they just scheduled a home and home with Utah in 2022 and 2023.

UCF can't get teams to do a home & home & that is completely undeniable. SEC schools are some of the biggest bitches as the majority won't travel especially Alabama

There have been more SEC/P12 matchups lately. Probably has something to do with that new bowl game in Vegas coming up.

Glad to see the gators FINALLY leave the state to play a true road game. Hasnt happened since 1991 to play Syracuse.

I would love the gators and UCF to play a home and home in each other's stadium. Gators AD isnt having it

Kenny, You mention UCF's "tiny" stadium. UCF's stadium ACTUALLY holds more people than Utah's. But lets not have facts get in the way....

Knight, point taken, both stadiums hold 45k. Florida did add Texas and Colorado too in upcoming years. The days of pussy schedules are coming to an end and I am glad. I would like to see the NCAA clean up this mess. Start with eliminating I-AA games. Correct me if I am wrong but I thought the Gators wanted to play the Orlando game in the Camping World Stadium? Uf might have also asked for two home matchups, which is probably a little bit of a dick move but I get it. I am not a UCF hater. Good luck.

I like that the gators are going to do more traveling. I enjoy out of conference games when 2 programs play each other. Extra bonus when both teams are projected to have monster seasons!

I hate the 1aa games but i am ok with having 1 of them. Its like a preseason game, you get a extra home game so the fans can feel "good" about their team.

Regarding UF vs UCF. There was never a formal offer. Rumor has it that the gators wanted to play 2 games in Gainesville and 1 game at the Citrus Bowl so it becomes 2 and a neutral.

Not many solid programs are going to sign up to play at UCF's stadium. They will have nothing to gain and much to lose
