I’m not saying I will go against him but will try to make a case....

In his 5 September starts only once did he give up less than 3 runs. 5 runs once, 4 twice, 3 once, 1 once.

If he only goes 6 and gives up 3 or more do you trust Washington BP to keep Milw scoreless?

Intangibles - after Milw lost 3 in a row at Colorado, NO ONE expects them to beat Max....all the pressure is on Washington. Milw was written off when Yelich went down.

Let’s hope we have a great baseball postseason without Umpires significantly impacting results!!

I'm deciding if Nationals are a team on a run or looking to hit a good dog with Brewersas Scherzer will likely be a significant favorite

Does Milw start Woodruff??

Hope he gives 2-3 good innings then all hands on deck???

IMO line will be lower than if regular season but I really don’t know

Maybe -170 and 7x total ??

Last 29 IP from Scherzer against the crew....he has a 5 ERA against crew. I’m a homer but regardless I’m playing the crew

as great as scherzer is the slightest slip up and they gotta turn to a bullpen that is awful. will pull for the nats as a homer but historically the playoffs are full of heartbreak. the nationals typically dont give scherzer a whole lot of run support and with the bullpen they have a 1 run lead late in this game will leave me without fingernails.

Line is at 180 now. Nationals have a history of choking. Maybe worth the dog price or +1.5 with low scoring playoffs. But seems there is also not a ton of 1 run game?

Milw is 4-2 head to head n scerzer has had a few problems with long ball but Nats hit well-milw had a few injured players all ready to go - could be a close one n Nats have won 8 in a row 9 of last 10

They'll have Strasburg and Corbin ready to go before the pen.....I'm sure they will give significant innings if needed. I see this being a tight low scoring ball game with Nats coming out on top by 1 maybe 2 runs in the end. Woodruff has solid numbers vs Nats he'll keep MIL in it. No Yelich will finally bite MIL here

I think you will see Sherzer throw his best game this year. Can go long. History has Nationals choking and their bullpenn is horrible BUT IF they need a bullpen you will see a starter in relief. -180 is a high price BUT I think it's the way to go here. Good luck everyone.

Just my 2 cents on Scherzer september numbers, lets remember that for several septembers the great Mariano Rivera looked vulnerable blowing saves and yet once postseason started he was well... we know how that turned out. Please understand that I am a Mets fan and not a yankees fan and I also am not saying that Scherzer is going to be lights out but I am saying lets not count him out just yet. Personally I have a Wash/Hous WS matchup ticket in my pocket

Good luck to all

id rather see strasburg or corbin pitch the 7th and 8th before anyone else in the pen. anything earlier is stras as long as he looks good. scherzer is a bull and a gamer and hopefully has a great performance for tonight.
