Unless you have Mariano Rivera out in your bullpen do not pull out your current pitcher (Pomeranz) who is pitching great until at least a batter gets a hit or walk from him. Playoffs is a different monster. Clemens, Maddux, Johnson , Martinez, Price and Kershaw among otherswerel very average in the playoffs. Schilling, Baumgartner, Hernandez, Smoltz all as good as it gets. Rivera was that for closers. Some of these managers play by the book. The old lefty vs lefty type stuff. Put your best guys in and forget it. But as far as pulling the pitcher it depends how late it is in the game.... how many outs.... the score... along with how good your bullpen is.
