Hard not to like the Leafs tonight. They should win by any score they choose. But aren’t these the type of games where someone opens the season by falling flat on their face? I can’t make a case for Ottawa here but +240 is so tempting.

All that being said, I’m on the Leafs puck line as well.

I believe opening night last year the Ducks beat the off-season darling Sharks 5-2 at San Jose as a big dog. If I remember correctly the Sharks dominated, but Gibson stood on his head and Jones was terrible.

I was scared to death of that one. Last year I had Calgary on opening night, and they laid an egg against Vancouver. Worked out, but I thought the same thing.
