Family finds 44 pounds of cocaine in ocean while on vacation

FRIPP ISLAND, SC — A family visiting South Carolina fished a big package from the ocean, took it to their rental home and opened it up, finding about 44 pounds of cocaine.

Beaufort County Sheriff’s Maj. Bob Bromage told news outlets Monday that the family was walking along Fripp Island when they spotted the trash bag-wrapped package floating in the water. They dragged it onto the beach and lugged it to their rental in a golf cart, later slicing it open to discover bricks of white powder. At that point, they figured they’d better call police.

Authorities assessed the cocaine’s value at more than $600,000. Officials are working to determine its origin.

Bromage said narcotics don’t frequently wash up in the county. He thinks Hurricane Dorian may have pushed it ashore.

If i was on vacation and found 44 lbs of cocaine, I'd just instantly overdose

Probably right, but I ain't turning that over to the Po-po, so they can destroy it, steal it whatever.

As far as I know it is not perishable, so all the time in the world to sell it, I'd use it myself to relieve nasal congestion, etc.

What did the finder think might be in it ?

I have to assume this would be the highest quality uncut shit.

I guess I'd first try to figure out how to test it, that can't be that difficult. I ain't done a line in like 20 years.

I would contact some trusted friends ( 1-2 ), that I've known 35+ years,and give them a few ounces to sample without disclosing the full scope of the find.

My brother thousands of miles away in an upscale hipster community would know what to do with this windfall...seafall ?

I'd be real cool and slow with this illicit , medicine, probably FedEx a key at a time to my brother, and let him take care of it nice and slow like...

If it we're a bale of weed, I'd give it to Po-po, cash or cocaine, no way !

Realistically what else would be in the box other than Coke or heroin ? , Cash doesn't get smuggled into the country, that goes the other way ( South).

Probably best to not even use it yourself with that kind of quantity on hand, could fuck up your health.

Think long and hard about how to SLOWLY liquidate this asset, tell only a very people that you would trust with your life, because you are doing just that !
