Battle of the backup QB. Unfortunately for Purdue it is also backup WR. Purdue d is not stopping anyone but they had previously been able to keep up with a spectacular passing duo of Sindelar to Moore. That will not be available so they rely on freshman QB who doesn't have a running game to give him cover The bad times are just beginning for Purdue this season. Maryland loses its QB but with the 29th ranked rush O going up against Purue 78th ranked rush D it may not matter. If Purdue were healthy this would be a great game for the wit Maryland bad (96th) pass d. I just don't think they will be able to manipulate it sufficiently to keep up. Purdue D is almost a gurantee to give up 30+ every week, which they will do here.
