The Turkish military is aggressively targeting U.S. forces

“A senior Pentagon official said shelling was so heavy that the U.S. personnel considered firing back in self-defense.”

Truly horrifying. Trump gave Turkey the greenlight to undertake this assault. He and @SecPompeo lied and said they were just getting our troops out of the way. What an unbelievable failure on all counts.

---
Earlier today, Tiny ordered the UN Ambassador to join Russia in vetoing an otherwise unanimous international condemnation of the fresh Turkish military actions

IT remains fascinating to observe how long - if ever - it will take otherwise clear-thinking Republicans to acknowledge Tiny is literally *owned* by Putin & Erdogan

I wouldnt ever say a President is owned by a different country.

But, I will say Trump is a dumbass when it comes to military strategy

It will be a tough cross between dismay (at a fellow American's loss) and hilarity when approx 24 hrs after Tiny leaves the White House the Turkish government seizes both Trump Towers in Istanbul and tells him to pound sand

Haha, did he use the word "owned"? That's funny, such a libtarded expression

That's what the Vettard's of this world say in a vein attempt to enhance their arguments. They think it makes them smart or something. In my part-time career as a psychoanalysis, I have concluded libtards choose to use the word "owned" in conversations because they can't win any debate with ideas and well thought out expressions. Usually, the more they talk, the dumber they look. Plus they have to keep their simple arguments simple.

All of this results in them frequently using some version of the word "owned" in debates.

It's genetics people, and they practice group think which requires group wide expressions.

PS: Doesn't using that word imply they're advocates of slavery? Isn't that offensive in their minds? Owning somebody is just wrong, I don't understand how they sleep at night.

This is the story being reported by rational sources

-------------------------------------------------

"The explosion occurred within a few hundred meters of a location outside the Security Mechanism zone and in an area known by the Turks to have U.S. forces present," Navy Captain Brook DeWalt, a Pentagon spokesman, said in a statement.

DeWalt said that all U.S. troops were accounted for after the incident near Kobane, Syria late on Friday.
U.S. troops have not withdrawn from Kobane, he said.

Turkey's Defense Ministry said it had taken all measures to ensure that no U.S. base was damaged while it responded to harassment fire that originated near a U.S. base close to Kobane.
"The firing was ceased as a result of the issue being relayed to us by the U.S.," the ministry said in a statement.

U.S. forces have had a successful partnership with Kurdish YPG militia in Syria to oust the Islamic State group.

"The U.S. demands that Turkey avoid actions that could result in immediate defensive action," DeWalt said.

Just so I get this straight: Trump is sending 2,000 more troops to protect the Saudi royal family and pulling troops protecting the stateless Kurds. He has major financial interests in Saudi Arabia and Turkey and none in Kurdish territories. Do I have that right?

This thing with the Kurds is curious at best. Can't say I would have made the same call.

And less than a week after Tiny orders U.S. troops to cease support of the Kurds, they (Kurds) are essentially forced into thrall of guess who? --- Russia

And now over a decade of US training, tactics and most important - intelligence information re US military in the region and NATO military resources now gets handed directly to the Kremlin

Donald Trump continues to fulfill his promises made in his pre-election Grand Bargain with Russia, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. He is working *solely* in their interests along with his own overseas financial operations and has zero interest in prioritizing the foreign policies most beneficial to The United States of America

Speaking of Syria, remember when the fucking idiots were telling us the solution to the million man refugee crisis created under their watch was to bring 10,000 refugees here. When you're that fucking stupid, nobody is going to listen when you're talking

Of course Trump gave those million people their homes back, but the fucking idiots are still complaining

It's all they do, bitch like scorned teenage girls going through puberty

Wag that dog, barman...wag that dog. ABC admits the horrific Syria slaughter footage is some stock explosions filmed in Kentucky. Doesn't take much to fool a deranged liberal

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...age-appears-to-come-from-a-kentucky-gun-range
that's one well planned, ahemm, "mistake". I'd hate to see what lies and deceit look like....:scared:

MSM = what a fucking clown show

ABC said that the following was a "mistake":
- Using footage from a Kentucky Gun Range from 2017
- Digitally stabilizing the video
- Applying an exposure filter to make it darker
- Cropping out the American spectators
- Applying a Grain filter to make it seem lower quality

They're playing to the democratic base, who'll ignore these transgressions and move on to the next story the pea brained parrots are told to regurgitate

When someone never learns from their endless mistakes, I can only surmise they're going to continue to make the same stupid mistakes

Ignorance truly is bliss

In a grim, but rueful metaphor for the Trumputin Presidency:

An extraordinary paragraph in a story now on WSJ website. The US military is bombing its own headquarters in Syria (set up to target ISIS) after a rapid and unplanned pullout by US military personnel. https://t.co/2VHioyXTzD

Meanwhile, re the letter (verified yesterday by WH officials) which Tiny wrote last week and mailed to Erdogan in the 48 hrs preceding the Turkish military advancing on U.S. and Kurd positions:

Erdogan's people told the Wall St Journal that "he threw it in the trash"

Why?

To quote my former colleague Bill Piper:

I think Trump’s letter to the Turkish Prime Minister is a good letter. It plays to his humanity while threatening him. Unfortunately Erdogan has no humanity & Trump never follows through with his threats (or promises) and changes his mind every hour, so no one believes him.
