That was one of the local Florida refs, unfortunately. Kevin McDonald or Herb would've stopped that shit, probably in between rounds. I hope they railed that ref afterwards. I'll see Kevin next week, I'll ask him. He'll probably bring it up anyways, he loves to discuss and share stuff like this as it needs to be discussed and handled to always try to better out sport.
Number 1 job for a ref is fighter safety. That kinda went out the window last night in that fight.
