Entry Fee: $50 per entry, 3 for $125
The contest begins Saturday, October 19. Signups will be accepted until Friday at Midnight.
-You must pick two teams from the AP Top 10 to win their games each week. -Games with ranked teams playing against non-FBS schools will not count towards the contest. -Once you pick a team, you will no longer be able to use that team for the remainder of the contest. -If there are no 2-pick winners, all entries that had 1 pick winning will advance. -You are allowed to select the non-ranked team as one of your selections in any given week.
REBUYS For the first 2 weeks of the contest, you can buyback into the contest should you make a losing selection. If both picks lose, the buyback is doubled. The buyback schedule is as listed here:
-After Week 1: $80
-After Week 2: $125
-From Week 3 on, all eliminations are final and there are no further buybacks. -Buybacks are not required, but if you do buyback, the fee must be received before the weekend games. If you buyback, that losing team(s) still cannot be used by your entry for the remainder of the contest.
PICK DEADLINE All picks are due Friday night at Midnight ET, unless there is a Thursday game, from which it will be due by Noon on Thursday. An e-mail will follow with a spreadsheet of all that week’s picks. Picks will be accepted up to that point, even if they are after the Midnight deadline, however there is no timetable on when that might be. It is advised to get your picks in as early as possible, as you can always change them prior to the deadline.
You must verify your picks on the spreadsheet for any errors. If the error is my fault, I will correct it prior to the first game starting for that weekend. At Noon on Saturday when the first game kicks off, the SPREADSHEET BECOMES FINAL, and any errors that might exist will stand, regardless of who made the error. If such an error results in your having a duplicate pick, that entry will then be eliminated from the contest. If you do not submit a pick by the deadline, you will be eliminated and unable to re-buy that entry.
ADDITIONAL PICKS There will be no weeks where 3 picks would be required.
If multiple entries survive the entire 7-week schedule, they will split the prize.
