Obviously for there starters I assume it helps but for there bats and momentum could be a killer with good possibility Yankees not playing we’d or Thursday with nor’easter moving through

Isn't this kind of an irrelevant question? I mean what is the option? Nothing kills momentum more than losing. So, they are better off losing a couple games but keep playing?

Agree but Corbin good on 6+ and I think one way or another Washington ends it Tuesday

it would be good for the nationals to close it out sooner.
they need their starting pitching rested and ready as well as a bullpen that hasnt been used much. even though their bullpen is below average they will need everyone healthy in hopes of winning it all.
best case scenario for them is scherzer, strasburg, corbin and would be lucky if the houston series goes a little longer and forces Verlander to pitch in DC as opposed to Grienke or Cole who have experience hitting in the national league. the weather may cause the houston series to play 3 days in a row, may or may not be a factor but by the third game someones bullpen is likely overused.

Do you enjoy being a dick for no reason, or is that an irrelevant question too?

FWIW.....the last 5 teams that have swept in the league championship series all lost in the World Series.

2015: Mets
2014: Royals
2012 Tigers
2007: Rockies
2006: Tigers

I like Astros to win it all. It would not be a shock for Nats to win.
