It doesn't really matter. I don't know maybe Flores is actually trying. Im just hoping they get one more first day pick before the deadline is up.

Not sure if you watched the fins game last week (my gawd who would?) but Rosen had NO time to throw as the O-line was putrid.

It was nice seeing Fitz give the team a lift.

They play Buffalo this week who has a VERY GOOD defense. Why put Rosen in there to get killed?

I would rather see Rosen start as they said a week or 2 ago that "Rosen in the man for the rest of the year".

I am also one who wants to see Rosen succeed in Miami so the fins can spend picks on other areas of need as I am still not 100% certain that there is a "cant miss qb" in this draft

So they are only going to start Rosen vs bad defenses? They know against good defenses he has absolutely no chance at succeeding.

Lamar played that same “good defense” that he saw in the playoffs, 2 weeks prior and led his team to a W.

Hmmmm. Enflameo, what do you think about that?

The guy can’t read defenses. He has absolutely no mobility. Not smart enough to process the game quick enough.

Redskins defense.

Honestly, i dont know.

I would love to see Rosen out there every week to see if he is QB of the future. As of right now, the answer is no.

Regarding Lamar: He is looking good. My only fear is what happens if he gets injured as he runs the ball so dang much. Look at RG3 before his injury. He was a STUD. Look at RG3 after his injury.

Rosen has not gotten a fair shake in this league. No one in their right mind can form an accurate read on him considering what he had to work with in Arizona & now in Miami. It is a complete travesty.

Could very well be the difference in whether they cover the spread or not. Starting fitz they have a better chance of covering

Lol NO contender would want this guy. It would immediately turn a good team to mediocre or bad. Football is a sport where things change in a switch of a light. Good teams would stop playing for this guy and questioning management. Teams go bad to great in a blink of an eye so best believe teams can go from great to terrible. Your character matters a whole lot in football. This guy is not built to be successful in this league. Mark my words.

Is he capable of having a few good games out of 16? That maybe results in 3-13 every year? Yeah, sure. Absolutely. But Nathan Peterman can do that too. And Rosen went pick 10.

Just ask yourself this... when was the last time a team gave up on a QB that they drafted just one year ago in the FIRST round? And the team who trades for him is no where near a contender. Management is in tank mode so they go out and trade for him. Put two and two together. I know it’s hard for a lot of you

Management traded for Rosen b/c he they got him on the cheap and was low risk/high reward. I was and still am onboard with the fins traded for Rosen (even if he has no future with them). I'd be PISSED if the fins drafted him with the 11th pick last season.

Rosen had a crappy o-line in Arizona and David Johnson was hurt last year. AZ hired Kingsbury who has the same agent as Kyler Murray. That is putting 2 and 2 together.

I was never a fan of Rosen but i like i said, i would LOVE to see him succeed down here

rosen has been dealt a bad hand thus far but still a young guy and not as awful as the teams he has been on. arizona is a lost team too, they had a rookie qb and rookie coach last year and fired them both for a coach with a losing record and a qb who really isnt a "generational" talent.
dolphins were in tank mode when they traded for him which was another bad spot for him as well.
the league isnt patient with players but he really hasnt had much of a chance of confidence from his front office help. not sure where he would fit but he will find another spot in the league and be fine.

Okay but my point is when was the last time a team did this?

Before the draft it is hard to predict if someone will be good. They had many games to see him play last year and they gave up on him. When was the last time a team did that? If he was legit, and they thought he could be a franchise QB....why not just draft in a different area that would help the team?

But nah. They drafted a 5 foot 9 QB instead and traded Rosen to probably the one team interested where he has a chance to play....Miami. Miami saw the way to get the #1 pick. Arizona was a #10 pick lmfao and finished worst in the league. Miami saw the way to do it. Trade for Rosen and you will lose a lot of games and have a chance to rebuild. Rosen teams will always have the #1 pick because this is what the guy is good for....getting your team ready for a rebuild.

Everyone keeps talking about Rosen had such a bad team in Arizona lmfaooooo. There are a TON of offensive lines in the NFL that need improvement. And not just that, but the defense this year is WAY worse for Arizona than it was last year.

And let’s not act like he didn’t have one of the greatest WRs in the history of the game. The man is ageless. Looks good this year. Looked terrible last. Interesting. Must be the offensive line and coaches. It can’t be the difference in Quarterback....can’t be. LOL

as a redskins fan i would have rathered rosen over haskings, think i posted that a few times as well.
arizona did a few things unprecidented with firing a coach and qb after 1 year. and sure fitzgerald is one thing but david johnson and his health are the biggest difference for this offense. his injury last year coupled with the line made for no win situation for arizona and rosen.

there would be no point to hiring klingsbury and having a qb like rosen. his "system" fits better for Murray so once they hired Klingsbury they had essentially already made their first overall pick. Murray isnt a savior either so jury is still out. i just think its ridiculous to say anything of what arizona has done as some validation to rosen being bad. since when has arizona done anything right outside of larry fitzgerald? maybe you have never seen a team give up on the 11th pick after the first year but arizona was trigger happy and did it, doesnt mean they were right. moving forward i havnt seen anything amazing from Kyler Murray to say they made the right decision.

I am going to answer you in 2 different posts...

Miami had a 2nd rd pick. They actually traded with the saints and moved down in the draft to obtain the saints #2 pick plus a number 2 pick in 2020. With that 2nd rd pick, the fins took Rosen so they really had little to no risk as Rosen is playing on a rookie contract as AZ picked up his bonus. AZ didnt want to keep Rosen around b/c of a potential QB controversy and that Kingsbury and Murray share an agent.

Rosen did lead a cardinal victory in Green Bay last year.

The day Rosen was traded, he actually stayed in Phoenix 1 extra day to attend Larry Fitzgerald's charity softball tournament. Him and Fitz had a very good relationship. I like that

It will be interesting to see if the Dolphins select a QB this season or trade down and pick up additional picks(maybe the Titans for Tua/Herbert?), that way the Dolphins could tank one more season and select Trevor Lawrence next season.

I would rather have Trevor but i cant see the fins tank for 2 straight years.

They have like 20 draft picks next season and A LOT of money under the cap
