Just looked at Baseball Futures at 5 Dimes; Houston to win WS = -190. Wow, that seems high, but the news of a HUGE BET on the Astros several weeks ago may have some influence. I thought a MAX of -170 on Houston.. Wondering now about my upcoming trip to Delaware for the series bet, being worth it.

I wonder if "Mattress Mack" is influencing the line a little as he as a crapload on the astros?

Houston -220
Nationals +180

grabbed houston at +170 after grienke but will buy out since my nats are there and want to cheer for them.
i think that line is right especially with houston having cole ready for game 1

If I had access to 2 key numbers, would help. A. How did Washington , a National league team do when playing in American league ballparks (designated hitter allowed) and B. How did Houston, an American league team do when playing in National league parks (loss of designated hitter).

Houston is easily the better team but the line is so skewed thanks to Mattress Mack doing his hedge; gun to head, you have to take the Nats but I'm passing.

Advice...

I have $250/$5500 on nats to win WS...

I was going to hedge, but -220 seems ridiculous.

Thoughts? I dont keep up with baseball so I really don't know how lopsided the teams really are
