Wish they could all be like last week. But they won't.

Thursday:

Kansas City -3 +102 (@ Denv)

So the Broncos beat two 2-4 teams and even shut out two quarterbacks from the Titties who like to give the ball to the other team. Now they get to face a banged up Chiefs team that just isn't the same team that started the year. True. But Mahomes on one leg is better than Flacco on four legs. And don't expect Mahomes (1 int) to give the ball away like soup to the homeless like Marriotta and Tannehill did. The Chiefs supporting skill players are still superior while EDenvers are average at best. Denver is 0-7 SU and ATS in their last seven games against the Chiefs. I'll take the wounded Chiefs to make it 8 straight.

Sunday writeups:

Oakland +4' -103 (@ GBy)
Since the Pack opened the season with Division wins against the Bears and Vikings they've done nothing to convince me that they are very good. Detroit has a way of whimping games away. They did just that last week to give the Pack a win and a 3-0 Division record. That should make them fat and happy, ripe for the Raiders to come into Lambeau and catch the Pack sleeping with a ful belly. The Raiders had 4 wins all of last year. Think they get their fourth in Lambeau today.

Minny -2' -110 (@ et)
Normally I'd be on the Lions here but Minny is 4-2 but their two losses came where? Yep. In the Division. They need this game bad.

Houston +1 -105 (@ Indy)
There were two three point games between these two last year in the regular season. But in the Playoffs Houston, as 1' point favs, hosted Indy and got smashed in the mouth, 21-0 in the first half before losing 21-7. They will remember that game today.

Arizona +3 +110 (@ NYG)
#1 visits #6. The first two QBs taken in the NFL draft meet up today. Since they let Kyler Murray run the Arizona offense is clicking. In the last three games he has 3 passing TD, two rushing TDs, and one pick thrown. Daniel Jones who gets all the East's media center press has 3 passing TDs (no rushing TDs) and 6 picks in his last three games. I think Kyler Murray shows today whose the best QB taken in last year's draft.

Cincy +4 +103 (vs Jax)
Cincy has played Seattle, Buffalo, and Arizona within four points. All losses. Jax is OK but They don't deserve to be road favs here. Think Cincy finally gets their first win today.

More coming.

Add:

Buffalo -17 -107 (vs Miami)
It's Josh Allen's time to regain a little of the magic that he finished with last year. His confidence needs a boost. Last year against Miami (2 games) he threw for 5 TDs and ran for 230 yards. The whole team needs to see an offensive explosion or they know that they won't be able to continue to compete with the big boys. Their D is legit and elite. Don't expect too many points from Miami today. But the Buffalo offense needs to stampede. Today's the day.

THanks, CW. You too, bud.

Late game writeups:

LA Chargers +2 +108 (@ Tenny)
So the big news in Tittie Town is Ryan Tannehill replacing Marcus Mariotta. But it's false hope. Tannehill likes to fumble and throw picks (career 123 TDs; 92 turnovers). That ain't good when your Offensive line has given up 29 sacks in their first 6 games.

Seattle -3 +101 (vs Balty)
Baltimore is 4-2. Seattle 5-1. The records are close but I think Seattle is a better team. Russell Wilson is not going to want to be outplayed on his home turf by upstart, Lamar Jackson. Seahawks easy.

May add one more.

Awful day. Apologize if anyone followed.

Add Sunday night:

Dallas -3 -109 (vs Philly)
THe shit has hit the fan in Dallas. It's in the faces of Jason Garrett, Jerry Jones, Dak Prescott, and Ezekial Elliot. THey better get a cleansing here or the year is gonna slide right down the shitter.

THanks for the kind words, Johnny. Like tonight's game.

Locked these in earlier in the week (posted in this thread):

New England -10 +106 (@ NYJ)
New England / NYJ Under 43' -101

Pats have faced Darnold one time, in Week 17 of last season. They held Darnold to 167 yards passing, 239 total yards, and a 38-3 final score. So, although I like Darnold generally, I'm not worried about him here against this crazy good defense of the Pats. If there has ever been an NFL defense as effective as this Patriot edition through the first six games of the season I don't know who it would be. THe Pats D is allowing an average of 4 offensive points per game through the first six games. Four ppg. They've been so dominant that in this scoring driven NFL they've only allowed one Field goal through six games. One.

Where the D has been so dominant, the Patriot offense has been pretty anemic by their standards. I've written about their offensive problems every week since the beginning of the season. THe problems (injuries) keep piling up. Tonight they will be without WR Gordon, and the only two tight ends that were on the roster before this week. So they are missing their All Pro center, their 1st round draft pick two years ago, left tackle, their battering ram fullback, their two tight ends, and valuable all purpose back, Burkhead. THeir all pro kicker, Gostkowski, also went on IR two weeks ago. So they have a compromised offense. But I'm expecting they'll still drop mid twenties on the Jets. THe Jets will be lucky to see 10 points.
