The Kentucky Wildcats are a double-digit underdog for this week’s game against Missouri, according to Vegas. The opening line came out today in favor of the Tigers by 11 points. The Wildcats are in desperate need of a win against the Mizzou Tigers, and after a loss to Vanderbilt last night, Missouri is in need of a win against the Cats in order to regain focus heading into the last stretch of the season. Kentucky has another streak at risk against Missouri – four straight wins over the Tigers – and it won’t be easy getting the fifth-straight win, even in Lexington.
Kelly Bryant got hurt earlier in the season and while he has returned, perhaps he isn’t the same caliber QB he was at the beginning of the season. Bryant is still very talented and he put up 140 passing yards and a TD to go along with 72 yards rushing in the loss to Vandy. He threw an interception that may have been the deciding factor in the game. With Kentucky’s defense looking much improved against Georgia yesterday, I would expect them to have another strong showing against Missouri.
The biggest question for the Kentucky Wildcats will be what position will Lynn Bowden play? Many ‘Cats fans are hoping Sawyer Smith is ready to go against the Tigers, and hope to see Bowden catching some deep passes from the Troy graduate transfer. With five games left on the schedule, the Wildcats are trying to find three more wins this season to become bowl eligible for the fourth year in a row. Missouri simply needs one more win to punch their ticket to a bowl game and would rather it happen this Saturday at Kroger Field. With Georgia and Florida right after Kentucky, Missouri could be waiting until November 23rd against Tennessee or even worse, November 29th against Arkansas, to get that sixth win. The Tigers would much rather have their bowl eligibility secured in the third week of October than in the last weekend of November. This could be the difference between a disappointing season for the Tigers or a season they look to build momentum off of.
I don’t think Kentucky gives up the 11 point-line at home, and I think we will be seeing a healthy Sawyer Smith (at least hoping we do) slinging the ball to Lynn Bowden in the endzone.

From a writer at USA Today

I realize Mo will be hungry after loss at Vandy , but if Kentucky gets Sawyer back , which I'm banking on , I will be on the Home Dog !!! Kentucky + 11

Duke is a 4 point dog at UNC this week. I'm teasing Duke up to +11, I think duke +4 is okay without the tease. Duke pooped the bed at UVA and UNC played it's heart out at VT and lost in 6 OT's. That loss will leave a mark on UNC.

OSU is -14 at Home vs Wisc. I'm teasing OSU down 7 to -7 at home. Obvious the better team

Teasing AUB up to +22 vs LSU at home. Hope it's enough

Taking a look at Colorado QB situation .... question is ... can we make some dough of the info ??? LOL !!!

It’s hard to say what affected Colorado QB Steven Montez more – the miserable conditions at Martin Stadium or the eager WSU defense. Either way, the senior had a forgettable night.
Montez, who entered the game 26th in the nation in passing yards, was benched after going just 4 of 13 for 21 yards in the first half.
He missed on his first seven passing attempts, and several of them weren’t close to his intended receivers. Redshirt freshman Sam Noyer replaced him after halftime.
Montez came into Saturday with 1,691 passing yards and a 63.6 percent completion rate.

Can he bounce back vs USC ???

Other Colorado Buff talk

Linebacker Chase Newman was ejected for targeting while trying to block on a punt return. Because the play happened in the second half, he will have to sit out the first half of Friday’s game against the Trojans.

Can we back USC on the Road ???

It’s been an up and down season for the Trojans, but they come into this game sitting in the driver’s seat in the Pac-12 South division. … USC is 4-0 at the Los Angeles Coliseum this year, and 0-3 on the road. Over the last calendar year, the Trojans are 1-5 on the road, with the only win coming at Oregon State in 2018. …

For now ...a stay away .... Thoughts ???

BC beat NC ST 45-24 last week .... NC ST was ranked #6 giving up 2.5 yards per rush .... after BC ran all over them for 429 RUSHING YARDS ...and they do they same vs Clemson ....who is ranked # 13 vs the rush ...giving up 3.1 yards per rush ???

BC QB back-up.... went 6/15 for 103 yards passing

I would think Dabo and Clemson will load the box to stop the run and make the Back-up QB pass ???

Louisville and BC very poor on D this year .... Last opp Clemson ...Louisville ranked # 111 on D .... Boston College ranked # 116 on D

Clemson QB Lawrence had a so so game ... throwing 2 picks ... going 20/29 ...

I feel he will redeem himself here vs BC

My lean ... Clemson - 33

Night Game in Death Vallley"- Don't think BC Can stop Clemson Offense and crowd is going to make it really difficult for BC Offense. I think Clemson covers in this spot. I'm personally a bit confused on what's going on with Lawrence this year, but don't think Clemson will pay for any mistakes until CFP

I like Michigan -1, Vegas see something. Of course I'll also tease Mich to +6 or better at home. Other then Georgia ND has played no one. UVA was in that game til Perkins started to turn the ball over. UGA is a very good team and well coached. But to lose to The Gamecocks is telling.

Mich has gotten better, they have wised up on offense and are giving Peterson plays he can execute. This will be a tight defensive war, I just think Mich has a little extra at home and finds a way to win by 3 or not lose by more then 6

He's been hearing he's an NFL ready QB since he's like 16/17 years old and wins a National Championship at 18... I can't imagine how a kid that age handles all the expectation and praise without it going to his head. I think he's trying to do way to much and trust his receivers way to much. He's letting talent carry the and it's catching up. He needs to be a student of the game again and manage games better. He's extremely talented, just hasn't looked great. That's my thought process, but I'm sure as hell No QB whisperer either, so take it for what it's worth lol.

I will likely include Clemson in a Tease

I agree with Kentucky play. They do need Bowden at receiver, not QB. Okie St has been a loser for me. They’ve given up 45 points in each of the past two games. Also, QB Sanders seems to be the weak link on offense. Certainly not up to the standard of QB play we’re used to at OSU. Purdyhas been great for Iowa St and the D is solid. Okie St a big risk here. USC has shown they are capable of being competitive against the best. Buffs are on a downward spiral. Has to be Men of Troy or nothing.

Clemson highly motivated this week. They shutdown BC back last year. BC one dimensional will not be able to run. Clemson pulled away last few games but scores somewhat misleading...talk of QB poor play and #4 spot this week has Clemson and Dabo looking to make a statement..Clemson comes out fast this week. I played -21 first half and -34 for game..will also hit over team total..thanks for all you do..GL

That Okie St QB, Spencer, is a true frosh. In the past two games, he has personally accounted for eight (8) TO's. That's four fumbles and four INT's.
