I agree Mamba.....coming off a fourth straight loss, Arkansas isn't coming to Tuscaloosa with any special momentum.
The Razorback defense hasn't been the most consistent to date. San Jose State hung 503 yards on them and Auburn
racked up 491 on Saturday. An 87th ranked defense ain't going to slow down Bama's offense no matter who plays QB.
By the way...Mac Jones will play well and the coaches and players all believe in him. Bama will cover this one easy.
I put Arkansas in a 10 point teaser on Sunday night when the line was 33, so I’m going to pray Arkansas +43 is enough. I believe Bama is 0-8 ats in last 8 games favored by 40+ and I would assume they had their #1 QB for all 8 of those games. The Ark/Bama game will be the last leg of the teaser, so if the number continues to drop and I get cold feet I might take a bite of the Bama apple to hedge and maybe get lucky with a middle and win both.
You're most likely correct. Arkansas fan here. I had been waiting for this game as I thought Tua would just play pitch and catch with his receivers for at least 3 quarters. I expected him to throw for 500 yards on our awful, awful secondary. Was going to throw a significant chunk on Bama. Then Tua got hurt and I decided I would lay off. However if Mac Jones can throw 5 yard passes, the receivers will run around all day. Our defense blows.
