I expect whoever comes out of the West to win the title. I think the Lakers and Clippers are the two most likely teams to do that. If one of them wins it all, you end up profiting reasonably well.

Charlotte is one of the five worst teams in the league. They don't have the talent to keep up with the Lakers. Plus, they were in LA last night. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of their players don't quite have their legs tonight.

Glad I was right about the Lakers game because I couldn't have been any more wrong about the Warriors. Looks like it could be a long year for them on the defensive end of the floor. I think the Spurs are in a good spot tonight with Portland playing last night and Collins being out with a dislocated shoulder. They are already thin in the front court without Nurkic and Gasol.

I also think tonight is a great bounce back spot for Golden State. Say what you will about their defense, but they still have one of the best point guards in the league and a lot of pride. New Orleans is without Zion, Jrue Holiday and Derrick Favors.

This is a good spot for the Clippers to get a win and a cover tonight. The Spurs are 3-0, but lets look a little deeper. They have played all 3 games at home, with the first two wins against the Knicks and Wizards. Then they played a much better team in Portland, but Portland played the night before and had to travel to San Antonio. Despite that, Portland made a big second half run and turned a 19 point deficit into a 3 point loss. Now they have to go on the road and play arguably the best team in the West. Kawhi is fresh after he sat out in their last game against Utah. The Clippers predictably lost the game which will motivate the team to get back into the win column tonight. I love the Clippers depth with guys like Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, JaMychal Green and Mo Harkless coming off the bench. I expect a strong effort from LA and they should send their fans home with a convincing win.
