From State to state.

They've got it down in some ways, 21 to buy alcohol, ok , at least the same in EVERY state now

Tobacco laws are a mess, it used to just be 18 was largely unenforced. When I was in HS, graduated in 1982, students 95% of them not 18, smoked between periods often joined by teachers to suck one down in 2 minutes and leave a minute to get to the next classroom, there were even ashtrays there ! I didn't smoke cigs in HS, but did smoke weed not at schoo, my point being selective enforcement, or basically non enforcement of the law..

I'm not saying it's wrong to up it to 21, just pointless, I'd rather it be more uniform for everything

The way it is now in many areas an 18 year kid could legally buy a shotgun or other long gun... ( Maybe even a handgun ?), But not a pack of cigarettes ?

It's one country, one currency, make the laws more uniform.

A guy from Florida with Fla plates and dark tinted windows shouldn't get hassled in New England

We need some common sense, people !

Just make an oz of personal weed legal everywhere, even if your state hasn't decided to allow dispensaries

Um, you do realize that states' rights are constitutional issues, and not up for personal whims?

I get the the state's rights argument, certainly a western state could set a 95 mph speed limit in certain regions, that ain't gonna fly in like NJ.

It's just kind of crazy, I live in southern CT, I can drive up to Springfield ,Ma. ..and legally buy marijuana but if I'm on a motorcycle make sure you're wearing a helmet when crossing the state line into Taxachussetts, ride into RI with just eye protection...no problem

Both NV and CA have legal pot...but if you buy legal weed in Vegas and bring it home to Los Angeles, you've technically committed a crime

I just want some logic and uniformity behind laws.

I'm a lot more comfortable in a grid city like Vegas instead of a chaos city like Boston where nothing makes any sense !

I can deal with CT where I-95 is the main highway, it runs through the state in an east- West direction but is designated as North/ South

So in the small picture you take the highway North if going East, and South if heading West.

There is a good reason for this.
The interstate known as I-95 runs from Maine to Florida, so overall it's N-S, but very much E-W within CT

In a gridcity like Vegas, once you catch on, it's like impossible to get lost, you just Kno w how to get to 3500 West whatever store or 2600 East, just a matter of crosstreets

Seems like personnel whims is the new norm. The constitution has turned into a your way menu except if your an actual tax paying American who has less rights then the illegal who is now not allowed to be called an illegal because there’s no compassion there. What the fuck have we turned into. National tampon day 300 million strong . Fuck that

I never owned a gun in my life, outside of a BB/ pellet gun when I was a kid.

I'm sure it's a mess to transport a handgun, you sure ain't flying with it!

Presumably it's for personal protection, thus needs to be right by you, ain't no good if it's under the spare tire in the trunk !

I don't much like guns, only shot a handgun a few times out it the desert circa 1989, a big handgun like a .45 or something.

I'm in a spot that would be so easy to break into, end of a dead end street hundreds of acres of Forrest and wetlands around me.

I haven't locked my door in about 3 years, not even sure I could find the key.

I'm not worried, if a thief wants in, they easily get in, the thing is that there is nothing of great value here, no jewelry, cash, not even a laptop, you gonna steal my refrigerator or something, my birthday ?
I'm like an honorary Canadian...an American that doesn't lock his house

I agree, we are a nation of immigrants, many of us have great grandparents from Europe that came over circa 1900.

Ironically most black folks have a better claim to being American than your typical YT !

It really shouldn't be that hard to shut down illegal immigration

Just make it nearly impossible to work without proper documentation.

I don't really see the need for a wall, just choke off the beaners at the employment level. If you can't get an $8/hour cash job, then don't come here.

Life as an illegal must suck, always looking for border patrol trying to deport you, limited job opportunities, language barriers, etc.

Even with the those barriers, it's still far better than whatever toilet bowl country you're looking to escape

USA is easily in the top 10 percent of places to live, especially if you are a legal born citizen
