Why do you think people are so depressed?

I don’t experience depression so I don’t understand.

Liberals have caused young people to be depressed, they have convinced them they are going to die within 10 years from climate chance, truly disgusting what they have done to young people over a falsehood

Social media, everyone knows what everyone is doing all the time. And kids get left out.

When I was a teenager I only knew what I was doing, not everyone else. I do think that would be hard as a teen

I am not a Dr so not qualified to answer 100% accurately but one fact is

You are born that way...(as mentioned on the show)

That is why you have to fill out all those family history questions before seeing a Dr.

On the show social media was mentioned first why suicides have increased for kid ages 10-14.

People are easily offended nowadays. Some needed therapy lessons after the 2016 election, some professors canceled finals so students could recoup.

How we raise ours kids absolutely has some impact, although it's not the only variable.

I know a beautiful girl, smart, successful and has everything going for her. However, she's "always depressed". She has two smart and good looking kids, guess what they're always talking about? "How fucking depressed they are"

Sometimes I want to slap them in the head. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt they'd never say that if they were my kids.

It's a pretty complex issue. There is a correlation between social media and depression and it's an easy talking point but it's kinda like saying fast food has led to higher obesity rates in the US. No one can definitively say what causes depression. I will add as humans we all have basic emotional needs; love, companionship, a sense of being wanted, a sense of importance, etc. When those basic needs aren't met people will cope or react in different ways.
