wont waste a second thinking about bryce tonight as a nats fan.
baseball (like hockey) requires a certain element of luck or fortunate bounces to go your way in order to win it all.
outside of boston most fan bases would trade anything for 1 title, the nats got that tonight.
if bryce goes on to win 5-6 in philly im fine with it because tonight is a special moment.
this organization has found some great talent and really been built up from the bottom. they have let some talent go as well which has hurt but a well deserved title comes back to dc in a great playoff run.

He’s good but overrated
Way overpaid, 13 years, foolish, so many players 34-35-36+ are not productive making top dollar

Cireboy I said Congrats to Nats & Skins 85 I said i don’t see philly win 1 , let alone 5 with Bryce Harper. He’s right layers aren’t worth that kind $$$, in their late 30s. Except maybe Mike Trout Go DODGERS & ANGELS. Again congrats Worl series champs. Great series 7 games. With no home team winning a game. Never happened before. I had Houston but bought out half at the end ok. Play nice Cireboy I’ll be trolling u next ok.

You never know what might have happened, had he stayed, he might have slumped and they don't win at all, or he could have sustained a career ending injury or got killed in a traffic accident driving to the ballpark.

You can't go back in time and say what would have happened if....

Kind of the one butterfly thing with time travel, or various versions of it like portrayed on " Back to the Future ", " Star Trek ", etc.

If I were some superstar ballplayer, probably married with children, I'd look out for my family interests first, 300 M vs. 250 M, makes no difference ! You gonna drive a better car or have a better house or something with 50 M more ?

It's all ego if you just want the biggest contract for your position.

If my family is best suited to be in the Pacific Northwest, then there are 3 teams up there, if Florida fits, a couple of options there and Atlanta, if the Northeast is your bag, 4 options there, why go to some place like Kc, Detroit,or Denver just for more money you don't need, if Tampa or Seattle is perfect ?

Didn't Bryce want to stay in DC?
But the Nats didn't want to pay him that much, correct?
Skins, isn't that true?

So not sure why Bryce would be salty. He wanted to stay there.
