Just got my renewal healthcare from united health for family plan 2020. 2300.$ a month for shit coverage my son and wife each had to go to emergency room once this past year 2600. A pop. That’s fucking crazy. Glad I work like a dog so I can be a slave for the free uninsured. Before you know it we’re going to be just like Great Britain or France or Germany where you have to wait 2 months to see a doctor unless your in the 1 percent. Anything government touches turns to shit regardless of parties. Will we ever wake up

Insurance purchased through an exchange can be very expensive unless you're low income
And Obamacare compliant coverage only needs to cover 1 exam per year, a colonoscopy every few years, mammograms and maternity. From first hand experience, not everything connected to those services is covered either. I pay extended blood-work. If additional testing is required for your colonoscopy or mammogram, that's not required to be covered and thus not covered by my plan.
So it's plausible that walking into the ER costs big bucks
With the repeal of the Obamacare penalty, other plans are reemerging and I expect choices to expand

Living in an all senior's apartment, I rarely see the post office people and when I do, it's never the same one twice. Even when i was growing up on a family farm in rural America, peole didn't give gifts to the Postal service. It's become absurd. And if I give to one of the employees working in the building now where I live and word gets out it will never end. Christmas should be about FAMILY and giving to the most needy among us.

Doug, its basic math. Fuckin' disaster. Here in Ontario we have a severe shortage of long term care facilities , 25 are being built within the next 1-5 yrs (what i have been told). WHO pays for the elderly to stay there?- our govt only subsidizes , there's still a bill. A massive strain on govt and families

Yes my wife had Mrsa a bacterial infection she was super sick went to er thinking I have coverage no way did she know are er copay/ deductible was that much. In addition my deductibles for catastrophic surgery over 7500. I will post my plan. I had Obama care through the exchange of our state when it was first implemented and yes monthly cost were cheaper however coverage was even worse not to mention when government involved total clusterfuck. There telling you they except your coverage when they don’t total nightmare. We left the exchange 3 years ago because our health care rep said this was a better option. Single paying system is shit unless your in the 1 percent . Nothing like waiting 3 months to see a doctor. We are quickly moving toward great Britain France Germany where waiting is the norm . I like having choices and this is just more bs. Remember health savings accounts that was some smart shit. I will post my plan in this thread so you can see for yourself .
