Will be interesting to see because they will have the best 1 loss. Will they drop below Oregon Utah Oklahoma and or Georgia??? If they drop behind them all. I think they are done. Thoughts?

Best 1 loss but who is their best win? Texas A&M?

if they win out, then Auburn is their best win and TexAm is their 2nd best win.

not the best resume

I think they fall below GA and Oregon.. still would be ahead of Oklahoma , Penn St , and Utah...They need help . they don't control their own destiny.. be really tough to get in not even playing in conference championship game... Bama is not entitled to anything

Ohio State, Clemson and LSU are virtual locks to make the CFP
barring a major upset. Ohio State and LSU can even lose their
conference title games and still grab a spot based on strength
of schedule and quality of wins. My Tigers need to run the tables
but that’s a 90% probability. So Bama is fighting for one spot.
If Georgia beats LSU in the SEC title game, they grab the 4th slot.
If LSU wins, then Bama fights with Pac12 champion (provided they
only have 1 loss), Baylor/Oklahoma Big12 champ. If Baylor goes 13-0
then they would make the playoff before Bama. Outlook is bleak.

I don't think Bama would be fighting it out with Oklahoma.. only and undefeated Baylor imo…

LSU had the tougher schedule going into the Alabama game, those wins against Florida and Auburn "hardened" them up while the Tide was coasting.
Do you think the week off hurt Alabama ?

Ohio State (1)
LSU (2) might leap frog Ohio State after winning SEC title
Clemson (3)
Georgia (4) if they beat LSU in the SEC title game
Baylor (4) if Georgia loses and Baylor goes 13-0
Oregon/Utah (4) winner of Pac12 provided they only have 1 loss and Georgia and Baylor lose
Oklahoma (4) could back door final spot if they win out and beat Baylor in Big12
Bama (4) needs a miracle to sneak in

Tua wouldn't have even played if Bama wasn't on a bye.. so no , the bye didn't hurt

since this is the crazy world of college football , I will throw this into the mix. Clemson loses to either Wake or SC , they're out too

Looks like the SEC is getting two teams in the playoff this year.

If Alabama wins out and crushes Auburn, the powers that be will find a way to put them in.

They were a Touchdown favorite that lost at home. They haven’t played anyone and they got exposed tonight.

drop their asses behind Georgia, Utah, Oregon and Penn State.

easy schedules hurt Bama , Clemson , and Oklahoma.. pretty much why Clemson needs to win out

The commitees don’t care about lines and who was favorited and who was not. They kept it close against the best team in SEC, put big numbers up against them

so there only loss is against the best team..I don’t think it’ll effect their chances to enter playoffs, especially if LSU beats Georgia in conference title game

as of now
1 LSU
2 Ohio
3 Clemson
4 Alabama

prolly be that in the end..all the other teams, even with stellar records will not make it. Playoffs are about ratings

Who has OSU played? I think PSU will give OSU all they can take. LSU is the best team in the country, hands down. I’m a Michigan fan. What do I know?

Fuck that too. If Georgia beats LSU, THEY should be the only SEC team in.

there are NO do-overs or moral victories! Win or go to the Cap One Bowl
