Why do you bring up that Minnesota didn't cover the game because they missed the extra point that would have made it 23-20 but fail to mention that Iowa missed an extra point after their first drive due to a bad hold?

Did you really need a new thread for this?
Like there isn't a difference that late in the game
If you bet 100,000 on a game would you be as mad they lost by a point because of amissed extra point on the first drive? One missed EP and youhad all game to make up for it even thoguh they were covering at that point. With 3 minutes left...it is a kick in the nuts. Imagine having 100,000 on the game and losing on an extra point with 3 minutes left. It is different. They also missed a FG. They also outplayed them. WTF are you on about?

The discussion is not about whether they outplayed them, not even about missing a fg. I have read over and over that Minnesota didn't cover because they missed the Extra Point. If Iowa had made the extra point on the first drive it would have been 24-13 and Minnesota would have probably gone for two after the touchdown to get within 3.

My whole point is those that are continuing to leave out the fact that Iowa missed an extra point early in the game. Funny how gamblers tend to leave out certain facts to support their narrative. Again this has nothing to do with whether Minnesota outplayed them or whatever. It's about the extra points missed by both teams.

By the way, Minnesota was NEVER covering from the 11:26 mark in the first quarter on. Iowa always had the lead and cover for 54 minutes and 34 seconds of the 60 minute game.
