Best advice I can give to win the contest.
NEVER play Thursday games (with the exception of Thanksgiving, but still against it). The reasoning behind this, is that when you enter plays in the contest you MUST place all 5 contest picks when submitting. You cant just play the Thursday then put the other 4 plays in later. You miss out on line movement, injury updates, weather reports, for the other 4 games.
LOOK for 3 games first, find those 3 winners out of all the games on the board, dont stress out looking for 5.... After you find your 3, relax and look for the other 2 bonus games. All you need to do is average 3-2 every week to be on the cusp of the money. Finding 5 games is stressful, thats why you need to get the mentality of only finding 3. Think of the last 2 as bonus games, and any wins can either save you or move you up even higher.
When entering, enter your plays as close to the deadline as possible, you dont want to miss any last minute weather/injury/line changes. Find a proxy that gives you the latest time (Saturday 11am Vegas time is the contests deadline).
ALWAYS bet with you wallet and not your heart. Lots of people are biased to their own teams, and tend to always have to bet for them or against them every week. If your team is always the first game you handicap, I may suggest NEVER even looking at those games during the whole contest.
