Garrett was asked by reporters the night of the fight if Rudolph said anything to him and he said “no.”

Don't believe it for a second. But we are at a time when calling a black person the N word is worse than a black person killing or raping a white person

He was also asked whether Rudolph said anything to provoke his reaction, to which Garrett responded, "I'm not going to comment on it."

I'm gonna call BS.

Lets say Rudolph called Garrett that word. During the heat of the moment last Thursday nite, Garrett would have shouted many times to his teammates and the steelers that Rudolph called him that.

My understanding is this is a very relevant sports story in the news right now. In fact, it was all that was talked about in the news last week without a racial tie.

Of course it’s still a relevant sports story today with a tie now to race.

You simply can’t please everyone.

i hope the commissioner just comes out and says that regardless of what was said he is still suspended because hitting someone with a helmet is inexcusable. if he did say something than they will look at it but to have it impact the suspension would be ridiculous.
if Rudolph is punished for saying it then every NFL player should be punished as well. there is no "its okay to say it here but not here" thing. wrong is wrong so dont set the double standard.
words arent violence, only violence is violence.
he is begging and creating an excuse for his actions. if rudolph were seriously injurred (which could have happened) then we are justifying serious injury based on words that hurt your feelings regardless of the word.

Baker Mayfield and Sheldon Richardson were just asked about Garrett’s claims. Both had no idea what the reporter was talking about.

Garrett seems to be following the Michael Bennet playbook

I hear ya Mob but this subject has to do with sports and is pretty topical

Just pointing out the double standard/ hypocrisy here from Enflameo that’s all.

There are a lot of racial issues in sports. Like my thread....there’s a misconception that blacks can’t play QB.....what happened? 3 black QBs lead the MVP race. So what are you saying?

Just saw Garrett's claims. Man, what an idiot to do that.

You know how much mic they have on the field during an NFL game now? #1 pick money you would think he could get better advice.
