Been waiting on this one - watched it last night

3+hrs but moved along very well, never gripping but a well told story (movie). Certainly and interesting looking in American History in the 60's and 70's - I love a good gangster flick, I especially like when great direct directors like Scorsese use the same actors over and over, another guy that does this well is Wes Anderson they get the best from the actors

De Niro and Pesci were excellent I thought..Ray Romano holds his own too LOL

Lots of CGI used make guys look younger and older

I don't know a lot about the Hoffa story but this was based on a book I heard you paint houses

I recommend you watch it - would like to hear some our old timers thoughts on Jimmy Hoffa

I was utterly and completely dissatisfied with this piece of crap from one of the greatest story tellers of my time, Martin Scorsese is a absolute god of the cinema. I had no problem with Gangs Of New York being three plus hours, but i give up half way thru, it started out OK, but I didn't buy Al Pacino as Jimmy Hoffa. Martin Scorsese as an executive producer of a movie that is 100 percent real because I was there when it happened, Revenge of the Green Dragons.

SMART Money Review!

i could not get past the big 3 actors being geriatric and being tuff guys. Plus why you on Netflix, flipping media blowing this moving saying how great it is, come on, even the explosions sucked, cheap movie,

3 hours of my life I'll never get back. absolute piece of trash...horribly fn acted, a story pieced together by a 7 year old, and no remotely interesting character. from the opening scene he thought he was making "GoodFellas 2 - not quite dead yet" and then slaps in some stuff about Hoffa. The actual laugh-out-loud moment for me was when 76YO Pesci (who I had no idea was still alive) calls 76YO Deniro "kid". reminded me of the Mandelbaums acting like tough guys

it's go time

It would have been nice to have a plot, or an interesting story. Just awful, and my best friend is in the movie

Frank had a stuttering problem. Kind of funny for a killer to stutter. Was very, very tight with the Provenzano Bros. who were also allegedly involved in killing Hoffa. I believe Frank probably did it, but who knows.

What a god awful movie. Wow, just a complete waste of time. And Rotten Tomatoes says 98%. What a joke, hollywood just sucks now.

I thought it was pretty good. And yes it was loooonnnggg 3.5 hrs to see at the movies. I would like to see again. It was kind of hard to follow at first but then once they got into the story on how Frank got into the mob it was fine. I thought it was good. I'd say 7 or 8 out of 10. By no means was it a casino or goodfellas but I enjoyed it

Successful New Movie Ratings Website Just Gives Exact Opposite Score Of Rotten Tomatoes

VALENCIA, CA—Stephen Haight was having a really hard time one night trying to find something to watch on TV with his girlfriend. Between their four streaming services and collection of DVDs, they were a little overwhelmed to say the least. So they looked up some ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.

Haight’s girlfriend Brittany had heard from one of her feminist friends that the Watchmen series on HBO was really good. Haight wanted to watch Tommy Boy–which was no longer on Netflix, but luckily he owned the DVD. It turned out that Watchmen had a much better Tomatometer rating (96%) than Tommy Boy (42%), so they watched the entire first season that night.

It was terrible.

This happened over and over. They would pick one film over another based on the Tomatometer, and the film would be a bust. Worse, every one of the shows or films that lost out ended up being fantastic.

So last week Haight launched his very own film rating site called FlickFlop. FlickFlop uses basic math to simply reverse the Tomatometer’s score. So in the case of Tommy Boy (42%), its rating moves to 58%. This score definitely beats out the Watchmen series (96%), which moves to a meager 4%.

FlickFlop has seen heavy traffic in its first week. Films like Joker, Super Troopers, and Step Brothers are finally being given a chance. Some folks even watched Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones, of which they had grown so afraid in their Rotten Tomatoes days.

So why wait? Download the FlickFlop app today on iOS or Android. You’ll be watching movies that actually end up being good in no time.
