LSU only has a 57% chance of beating UGA in the SEC title game. Lose to UGA and LSU is out, UGA will be in playoff with a win next week.

OU has the 4th spot right now. If they lose to Baylor, the political machine begins to churn for that 4th spot. Assuming LSU beats UGA, My 25-1 Utah teams gets that 4th spot, assuming they beat Oregon. Unless political forces somehow go to work and get Baylor in.

Lots of great games next week. 4 team playoff is okay, should make it 8, to be fair to a team like Baylor that will likely be left out even after beating OU.

There is no scenario where LSU is out. They are in period. End of story.

The only chance LSU doesn't make the playoffs is if they lose....Utah wins and Burrow gets knocked out for the playoffs. They may then consider Utah the better team.

If UGA beats LSU next week, LSU is out, and UGA is in. Assuming OSU, Clemson, and OU win next week. Can't keep UGA out, if they beat LSU. So who is going to get bumped for LSU to get a spot, if they lose to UGA? OSU, Clemson, OU are in if they win. The last spot goes to the winner of LSU vs UGA period.

I told you guys Bama was out a few weeks ago with that humiliating loss to LSU.

LSU is out if they lose to UGA, assuming Clemson, OSU, and OU win out.

LSU would get in ahead of Utah...OU and Baylor unless Burrows gets injured for the rest of season. Even then they might get in. Who knows

Utah only has a chance if OU loses to Baylor. If OU beats Baylor they are in, If UGA beats LSU they are in.

All LSU has to do is beat UGA and they are in period.

Burrows is due for a stinker game. Can UGA's defense hold LSU to less then 20? If Burrows has 4 TO's most defiantly. I'm very interested in seeing where Vegas opens this game. Anything less the -7 LSU, I say UGA will be in this game til the end, and anything can happen.

If LSU loses to Uga—-OSU, Clemson , Uga, LSU

If LSU and Osu lose —-clemson, osu, uga, LSU

There are scenarios in which OU can get in, but they depend upon LSU winning.

LSU loses to UGA they are out period. Assuming OU beats Baylor it's OU over LSU. The Power 5 politics will dictate OU in, LSU out. It's in no ones financial interest to have two SEC teams in, especially TV that does not want to sell a 2nd match-up. Sure for a few die hard LSU twats, they will be crying about being left out. But for the majority of the country OU will be looked at as a legitimate P 5 team that earned it's way in.

For all The LSU cry babies, just beat UGA and you'll have nothing to worry about. Any Idea what the number is yet for UGA/LSU?

I'll be betting big on this one.

Nice try, nobody wants to see Oklahoma in it again and get blown out again. LSU is in regardless. No way they take a 1 loss Oklahoma team who lost to Kansas State and best wins are twice over Baylor and leave out a 1 loss LSU team that beat Florida, Auburn, Alabama and would have one loss to a top 5 Georgia team. LSU would be new to the playoff and the playoff needs a new fresh team to pump life into the playoff and not another round of Oklahoma. Oklahoma's only chance is for LSU to beat Georgia and try and get the fourth slot over Utah. Nice try - we all know that you don't even believe what you're writing only trying to start shit up. Now go play with your monopoly money and fake bets.

Lincoln Reily is a hot property, as is OU. LSU better not slip up and lose to UGA, if OU beats Baylor. It's all about the money, and LSU will come up short if tey lose to UGA

You are pure comedy I'll give you that.

LSU is in the playoffs, win or lose

Would love for you to break down how you computed 57% chance.

Unless LSU gets blown out by GA, they make playoffs. Utah is a much better team than Oklahoma if we are looking at pac 12 or big 12 champ to take 4th spot.

go to fivethirtyeight.com Nate Silver's site. Scroll thru the menu til you see NCAA playoff odds. He lays it all out. LSU loses to UGA assuming Osu, clemson and OU win, LSU is out of playoff
