WWTS cancelled my Shaq to field bet -3.00...

First it was up, I bet it 9 for 3. A whopping 300 exposure. It was good for hours then they took it away. Not sure why they left it up, then took it down after I bet, then took bet away. What would you do? Best Wsihes...OF

Ask to speak with the management. They took the bet which was not a bad line, so they should honor the bet.

I think they should get on the ball, pay the wager (if it wins, like it should) and learn to pay attention.

ADD bookmaking.

Of course, I wouldn't have been an asshole shot taker like you & probably would have reported it - like I did to a few books after Vick went down last year and the team win totals were left up.

There has been no annoucement. Seems to me a lot could still go wrong. I think you still should have a bet.

Manager gone for day, was cancelled because information was made public? In my opinion, was not an A-hole shot taker laying -3.00 to win. Trade could blow up, who knows. He was going to Mavs, they took all of that action. Now he is supposedly, and that is the key word, supposedly, going to Heat. Sleepy or not, I gambled -3.00 that this trade would go. Disclaimer says, no action after it becomes public. In my opinion, I got jacked...Best Wishes...OF

I think their is a bit of difference between team win total without Vick, as we saw, and laying -3.00, pretty good lay, until August 2nd. What if Heat turn around and trade him? I lose. If trade blows up, I lose. The bet is where wil Shaq start next season. I do not take A-hole shots at bad lines, I report them for free. This was not a bad line...Best Wishes...OF

Agree. Bet is legitimate. Line was fair. Nothing is final regarding Shaq. They could take it down, but should honor the play. Stay after it if you want the play.

To be honest, I did not even push limits. I heard was to win $300, so I bet 900 for 300. Kicker is where Shaq will start. The trading deadline is August 2nd. And no trade has been finalized. Not sure how to proceed on this one. Best Wishes...OF

No, they are saying it made the public news. I went from writer, to supervisor, to manager is not here. When I tried to pin supervisor, asking what do you mean, it was announced, she got stuck, and said callback in morning for manager. Best Wishes...OF

Not so sure about karma here. What if I had bet, stay with Lakers, or Mavs. Would they have cancelled that? Tough to take a bet, then look it over, looks like it might win, and cancel it. That is my only beef. Plus why wait hours to cancel it. Looks like a bait and switch for $300 exposure. Maybe the mean FROG deserved it. But it still stinks. Best Wishes...OF

I remember a few years ago the press was so sure the Stoudamire deal from the TrailBlazers to the Rockets was done, ESPN reported on their fronpage. A few hours later the trade was off.

WWTS should pay the bet. Nothing is 100% with a trade even if it's "public" (whatever that means).

Hiya Doug, well if it had been with WSEX, this post would not exist. I have caught them sleeping, with marginal numbers, and they paid, everytime. This WWTS I have no experience with.
