Does anyone ever look at how much they wager in a month? I just checked mine and in November I wagered a total of $20,000 and lost $500. Just curious if that is about the norm

I think it's normal for sports bettors. I wagered about 9k this month and I'm betting really small these days. I'd bet most are wagering more than 20k. I remember one year I wagered almost a million on the year, and was like shit. It doesn't take much, and adds up if you are constantly rolling over even a small bank roll.

If i had access to a local sportsbook without driving to Delaware, it would be interesting for sure. But having only one online place to bet, it's small. Too much worry/trouble to get funds into the book. During baseball season I bet each every day but not during the other seasons.

Been gambling 35 years, took about 8 years off in the middle. Last 20 years have been pretty consistent like this, so I'm guessing $4,000,000 in the last 20 years. Kind of scary actually

I have to think that at least 80% of those that post here and are somewhat serious about the topic have to have an Excel spreadsheet where they track their bets everyday. I have done that since 2003 in the same spreadsheet. Previous to that I had a different format, but didn't carry over the numbers.

Including all forms of gambling which for me would be horse racing, sportsbetting, and poker I'd bet my churn was in excess of several mill. I've been around. And I've gambled a lot.

And believe me I'm not proud of that because there has been more losing than winning.

When I'm betting regularly, about $30,000 per month on accounts and another $10,000 at the casino. Close to half-million per year. Average a 1-2% edge and it's a much more profitable hobby than most other things I could be doing
