I like to bet big, well big enough for my bankroll. I don't like that feeling of "oh shit" when the spread on a game is going against me, particularly when I have serious coin on the line. I make $55k a year, good enough to live a good life here in the midwest, get my kids thru college and put a few bucks away for retirement.

Sometimes my gambling is in the low 5 figure range (like 11k) on big weekends. I win as much as I lose, haven't eaten into my retirement fund really, well maybe a bit but the fun and excitement is worth it

Be honest guys, do I have a problem?

Risking 20% of your annual salary on a weekend.:smoking:...yeah you aren’t losing it all but still...

Have you went an extended period of time (over 6 months) without gambling? Were those around you happier?

I will say this honestly to anyone considering gambling:

NEVER start if you have an addictive personality.

If it negatively impacts your relationships with family, friends, coworkers, etc either STOP or change how you act.

My biggest regret is seeing my sons gamble, knowing I played a role. I was always on the phone during the holidays calling in those plays.

My only saving grace is I hate losing, understand the value of a dollar, and bet very small amounts.

Be prepared to get silly replies because you’re asking all us degenerate gamblers to tell a fellow degenerate it’s okay.

you are gambling way too big of a % of your bankroll/income.
one disastrously unlucky weekend will cause a lot of problems.

Would guess at least 50% of the posters here have multiple addictions. I know I do, but they are not equal as to control.

Honestly,it sounds like your full of shit . On a salary of 55 k I assume you have bills to pay and food to eat . So that being said your weekly take home is mathematically what 850.00? Do you live in your car and save up for a 3 month long shot. Is your 55k job just something to pass the time because your living the dream?

Only you can answer that question. If you have a gambling fund and your gambling is not taking away from your quality of life, then maybe no

But on the surface, based on income and amount wagered, it seems you have a problem

Instead of gambling on games just invest everything you have in BITCOIN!

There is only 1 rule that I adhere to when it comes to gambling.

Never wager more than you can afford to lose.
