Great for a business.
If I was a chick named Jennifer, then how cool would 867-5309 be ?

Just anything easy to remember like ending in 5555 or whatever, should be worth it to a business assuming the cost isn't crazy.

Certainly they exist because many businesses have such numbers.

I wouldn't pay a ton for it, just basically happy to just keep my number if I were to change carriers, it's a PIA to notify dozens of contacts about a number being changed !

A business would be a whole different story, I'd consider the value of having an easy to remember nuber like 555-5555, it couldn't hurt !

For personal use, I wouldn't pay much for it, it would be a task just to notify your contacts of the change and you'd for sure forget several people/companies that you don't frequently contact !
I would avoid changing my number unless I moved to a totally different area code, for example if I moved to SC it would be time to lose the CT area code of 203/860, I'm right on the border where 203 starts to turn into 860

If I moved out of state, the number would have to change, many people won't answer a call from an unfamiliar area code and I don't blame them as it almost certainly a garbage call.

867-5309 seems to be a real doable number but you'd probably not want it, even you're a Jennifer, you'd get way too many unwanted calls, it would quickly become a nuisance, perhaps for a business but not your personal phone

It's pretty strange how Tommy Totone was a one hit wonder and the signature tune was a phone number of all things

I saw this on a CNN webpage. A guy in NJ is/was selling his 867-5309 local number on EBay. He has several offers and thinks it will eventually net him $40,000

A Philadelphia man has 867-5309 in both the 800 and 888 toll free codes. He was offered $1 million but has declined. He licenses the number to local businesses such as a pizza parlor for ad campaigns

I see some value to that phone number in particular a business, but nothing near those digits. No way s pizza joint is going to pay that kind of coin for a number, the volume just isn't there.
I've got a few good stories about pizza parlors and phone numbers, kind of long, I'll post it in the next few days, funny stuff and totally true !, As always, I'll throw into this thread, just too long too do it right now

Well, the $1 million offer was from a national weight loss company. He just licenses it now for other ad campaigns. My guess is he makes a small consistent profit
