A general question to the horse forum. What publications and or handicapping tools do you use? If you use drf, do you download pp's or buy the actual paper? Are there any websites that you use? We are always looking for new advertising ideas. If you respond on this forum, we will enter your rx posting name in a random drawing only for rx posters on friday June 6 and give away a free $20 win bet on Funny Cide. Thanx for your help.

Alot of the info I use comes from the daily racing form I purchase locally, but I do use Brisnet and Drf.com for tracks not covered in the local form here.

I start by using a software package called MMTRXpp. Dave Mahalik, 3 time TOP handicapper while he was at TrackMaster™, provided the program specifications for MMTRXpp. It uses uses INEXPENSIVE ($1)TrackMaster™ PP data files for each card. There are other versions of the program but the $1 data files for me is the kicker. It sometime isolates longshot plays and they are usually pretty good picks. Isolated one last week at Clader with a Pick 3 by playing 3/1/1 with the third race being the longshot pick (9-1) and won over a grand on a pick 3. I paid $175 last year but they sell it for $99 now. Search on " steedscribe" and will provide you information.
