I start by using a software package called MMTRXpp. Dave Mahalik, 3 time TOP handicapper while he was at TrackMaster™, provided the program specifications for MMTRXpp. It uses uses INEXPENSIVE ($1)TrackMaster™ PP data files for each card. There are other versions of the program but the $1 data files for me is the kicker. It sometime isolates longshot plays and they are usually pretty good picks. Isolated one last week at Clader with a Pick 3 by playing 3/1/1 with the third race being the longshot pick (9-1) and won over a grand on a pick 3. I paid $175 last year but they sell it for $99 now.
