I live 200 miles from Dover Downs Sportsbook.. Frankly tired of driving the distance and maybe breaking even at their book. I don't play table games so it's a lonely trip for a senior...But any locals willing to meet and share our handicapping plus a drink or two; more than willing to communicate.. I've won playing baseball and lost playing football; for a background.

why not bet offshore and go to a local bar to watch if that's the issue. traveling 400 miles on a given sunday to go to that place seems foolhardy with the gas, time, risk of accident, wear and tear on vehicle. you must not want to stay home for some, i'm sure, legitimate reason. if bitcoin is an issue just don't ever cash out. put your info in a codicil in your last will and testament so someone can claim it. offshore books love senior citizens that don't request withdrawals. actually they like anyone who doesn't bother. they will gleefully confiscate your funds after inactivity anyway. dover downs with all those tunnels and low ceilings is a depressing place to be anyway. no one at the senior center in richmond va that wants to go with you to share expenses. reach out more.

You have an interesting and food for thought reply. It makes good sense! But I want to withdraw at a certain level say about 4 figures and I'm a small player. On a positive note, I see from a VAST amount of reading, that Virginia MAY have sports betting on the radar with the new Democratic congress in the state. Of course they want to raise money. What state doesn't? But it seems the odds are tilted more in favor of it this year than previously. 4 big cities have already been approved for casino gaming and that's like a snowfall in JULY for Virginia. You are right Delaware is too far ...Excellant advice!

If you're betting a decent amount of money on the games, then it's worth it. If not like the other poster replied, just post up offshore.

Now if you're playing parlay cards, you can do that at any lottery agent in the state. DE is behind the curve on their flat betting as they don't offer ML on every game and if a line is -10 or more they think it's a mismatch. We've seen enough games with big favorites losing. NE vs MIA anyone.

You can always stay overnight and watch the games all day long if you don't want to make the 3 hour trip back.

Not sure of your average bet size but at least you have live options and again it all depends on what you are looking to get out of your experience.
