Curious to see this thread 5 years from now to see how many of them have had decent nfl careers.

again, I understand that these are the best college quarterbacks in the SEC and NOT the top NFL prospects

Burrow should be number 1 and 2....I'm just messing with Pete, haha

Burrow an Tagovailoa should be ranked above everyone else....and Tebow should be #3.

This doesn't take into account rushing yards, thus leaving out two of the best SEC QB's - Cam Newton and Tim Tebow. Both won Heisman's and NC's.

If I am correct, only 2 of these listed have National Championships - Burrow and Tua. Also, only 3 Heisman's in the list - Manziel in there with Burrow and Tua.

Would love to see the overall record of these 15. My guess, after throwing out again Burrow and Tua, is just north of .500.

Some good passers there though. One's I have forgotten about. Aaron Murray for example.

Also notice how many games it took Murray to get those yards.

+1

There's a big jump from high school to college and even a larger (huge) jump to the NFL.
Size increases...Speed increases...Talent increases at each step. One might have a lot of
success at one level and not so much at another....even failure.

AJ McCarron was definitely a winner at Bama. Of course, all you have to do is see a photo of that chest tattoo and you know he's probably got some snakes in his head.
