Derrick Lewis lost to junior dos santos, he lost the fight via TKO in the second round. This fight earned him the Fight of the Night award, but it was set up by a crazy spinning round house kick by Santos to the gut, Even injured Derrick Lewis was throwing monster bombs. Derrick Lewis previous fight vs Blagoy Ivanov, I though he lost, Blagoy Ivanov is just a tuff as nails SOB. It was and back-and-forth war of gradually reducing strength and effectiveness each fighter sustained attack or pressure. Throughout the entirety of the fight, Ivanov displayed a spectacular ability to eat Lewis’ hardest shots. Knees, straight punches, elbows: You name it, Ivanov absorbed the damage without issue. A former World Series of Fighting heavyweight champ, Ivanov has won eight of last ten outings despite the loss.

Latifi was expected to face Volkan Oezdemir on June 1, 2019 at UFC Fight Night 153. On May 30, 2019 it was reported that Latifi was forced to pull out of the event due to back injury and the bout was cancelled. The pair was rebooked at UFC on ESPN 5 on August 3, 2019. Volkan Oezdemir beat the mother fucking breaks off Latifi. (laptop battery is about to die)

Latifi called out Daniel Cormier after his win over Ovince Saint Preux, but since then he has done nothing. He has a Technical Submission (guillotine choke) over Ovince Saint Preux but that was set up my a left hook. Latifi bolxing will not be effective vs Lewis. The only path to victory Latifi has is to use his wrestling when if Derrick Lewis and he always does , take a minute break when he gets taken down, but once he get his gas tank back . he gets an underhook and works his way back to his. Derrick Lewis will have a massive size advantage, and reach disadvantage in this fight. Derrick Lewis was not ready for the Daniel Cormier fight, but Ilir Latifi record is padded, with wins over Tyson Pedro, Gian Villante and Sean O'Connell, after watching the Oezdemir , I'm questioning Ilir Latifi , but not questioning Derrick Lewis KO power.

I really don't think Jones should be a -400+ fav. Reyes is not one of those title contenders that you can sleep on AT ALL. Personally think Reyes is a very good play at anything over +300

There's no way Lewis should be this high of a favorite over Latifi. He will probably win the fight but Lewis has shown me nothing to be a big favorite.

And Latifi has been somewhat of a letdown imo, and he’s due for a great showing. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if either win this fight...

I'm excited to see this fight, I though Volkan Oezdemir should have won the split decision over Dominick Reyes, jon jones put a world of hurt on thiago santos, but I was disturbed by how effective thiago santos leg kick were, and jones lack of attempts to block them. dominick reyes stepped up to the next level after the ovince saint preux fight and his kicks became lethal.

Really?!? He won by split decision with all 3 judges having it 48-47. A majority of the media had it 48-47 as well, with several having it for Santos. All of this with Santos having a blown out knee for most of the fight as well...lol
