Always innovating, we are going with the Super Bowl Box Auction. All the squares are set, it’s up to you to bid on them. The boxes can be seen here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1skdpDsG9hgnD13FTd5E6O-UHOSFpEN4y9lY052oh2oQ/htmlview

Mon-Wed, the minimum bid is 20
Thu-Fri, the minimum bid is 10
Sat-Sun, the minimum bid is 5

this will have a bit of a Calcutta feel to it, since the final prizes on the right will be determined by the total bids.

you can submit your box bid here: https://forms.gle/vJf7f5AVP2NAa5pE7

Email pinnaclesurvivor@gmail.com so I know you’re a new player

Can’t hurt to take a $5 box on Saturday. It’ll pay better than any other box pool you’ll be a part of.

2 points added to the final score.

so if it’s 28-20, the Plus 2 will be 30-22, winning for box 0-2

amazing format.

so its an honor system you dont pay in advance? of do you need to post up a max amount and bid what you have sent?

Thanks for the kudos. You’re on my email lists I believe. I try to be as innovative as possible.

it’s not really an honor system so much as many of these people have equity in other contests and play in others, once they have their squares set, they pay. And if they didn’t, that box immediately goes back on the market to the original other highest bid. For any newcomers, I might as for a deposit or a quick payment.

Yes, Saturday at Midnight you’ll be able to bid a 5 minimum. That doesn’t mean you’ll get them, because you can still be outbid. But that will be the minimum.

When there are definitely no further bids. If it’s still going by tomorrow, I’ll be checking in with the bidding parties.

all 26 have a 5 bid at least on them.

not all the boxes are a choice in the drop down? for example KC 7 SF 3 is not a chioce for a bid? can you fix the drop down?

oh I see your colors now. some you sold and they paid as is. and some are still being bid on ? strange format on a Calcutta, if you paid you lock in right away? how did that work.

I was keeping an eye on the boxes but got confused as 3xtry. :think2:
Maybe not a format to break out to newbies to your offerings.

I’m just seeing this now. You have my email, that’s the best form of contact as I don’t check this constantly.

All the boxes that were sold were gray or blue, thus they weren’t a part of the new drop down menu.

it’s not a strange setup for Calcutta. All it was saying was that the blue hadn’t officially be paid, which meant it could come back on the market. Every single bid was paid for, so the blue never truly mattered anyway.

ive been posting contests on here for awhile, I can’t really help that this contest would be the first you saw. You can send me your email and be a part of all the contest offerings.

not fully understanding this. but still innovative idea. Ill try to be ready next time.

it did matter however that color thing blocked chioces in the drop down. there were numbers the good numbers the 0-0 0-3 7-3 Saturday night and sunday morning that you could not increase the bid on. only a limited set of numbers were in the drop down to bid on the bad numbers 5-9 6-2 etc etc a bunch of those. . A calcutta needs all numbers open until the very end.

Saturday morning, the bids dropped to a 5 minimum. At that point, 74 boxes were sold. Because the bidding opened on Tuesday and people made their bids, and eventually we got to the highest bidder. With a game on Sunday, how long can boxes that no one is bidding on for 30 stay open, that we are now at the 5 minimum stage, which for what it’s worth, is what you said you were waiting on to bid. If you were going to bid 30+, why didn’t you do that during the week?

if you wanted to bid on the big numbers, you had the chance Tuesday-Thursday when they were open. By the time Saturday got here, the minimum bid dropped so we could sell out the crappier boxes for the lower prices, so you might’ve found a deal, if someone got a safety or a 2 point conversion, but this particular super bowl was very much by the books.

there are so many contests as you can see from the mailing list. This is far from the only one you can play in.
