Curious as to the responses.
Ha, youse really getting triggered tonite, Mr Nice and reasonable guy.
Starting ANOTHER thread just to argue.
Hear we GOOOOOOO!!!!
If all 32 teams went the Ravens direction and had a running QB , I would take Lamar. He probably would be the best under those circumstances.. But since thats not the case , Jimmy G is correct choice
See,, you dont want other responses, that is the point as stated by many who see through your fake ass.
You just have a need to prove you are right.
GO ahead and say it..
Lamar Jackson is the correct choice, based on their career performances to date
Jimmy played a handful of great games, watched a whole lot more from the sidelines
and Lamar being 5 years younger makes this a no brainer
LJ is the way to go...
That is my opinion of course Mcfuego...
Another nice thread...LOL
Jimmy G of course .
been touting him since college
I'm going to suggest the current MVP would probably be the choice of many GM's, if not most. Now if you're actually going to make this type of authoritative argument citing NFL GM's, then you have to have a citation. If none exists, then your reasoning is nothing more than an attempt to elevate your own opinion. Such an argument is worthless. Neither one of us knows what they think.
What we do know is this
Lamar Jackson was recruited by and played for a much more prestigious football school.
Lamar Jackson won the Heisman
Lamar Jackson was drafted higher. that's one indication about NFL GM's think and it supports my argument.
Lamar Jackson has had a better career to date
Lamar Jackson at the age of 23, won this year's MVP award
Lamar Jackson has better QBR's for both 2019 and for their careers
Lamar Jackson is infinitely harder to game plan for
Lamar Jackson is 5 years younger. At his age Jimmy G was carrying a clipboard
Now, tell us why you THINK Jimmy G is the better choice? And speculative citations don't fly with me
Because he's a pure pocket passer who can get through his progressions and make accurate 3rd down throws to extend drives. He's not as athletic but who is?
Don't care who had a better college career or where they went to school. Tim Tebow is possibly the greatest college QB of all time. Sam Bradford won the Heisman. Who cares?
Lamar Jackson was drafted higher? Who cares? Many QBs were drafted ahead of Tom Brady and Russell Wilson. Means absolutely nothing.
Ask yourself this, who has the better chance to get their team to the Super Bowl with equal weapons on offense? Lamar Jackson or Jimmy G?
I mean, by saying GMs would take the current MVP, you're essentially saying they'd take Jackson over Mahomes too right?
Jimmy G passed 8 times in the NFL Championship game, just stop.
We both made are arguments, people can judge for themselves. I cited facts about lifelong accomplishments, I think the body of work speaks for itself. You counter with more speculation and more opinion. Thanks for confirming you have no idea what NFL GM's think. Well, you have no citation anyhow, I suppose you may actually believe you know what they think.
Your comment about Mahomes is the type of juvenile stuff, like pretentiously citing NFL GM's to begin with, that bores the shit out of me. Not even worthy of a response, it's the type of stuff that leads to the endless pissing contests found around here.
Mamba Out
Lamar Jackson. The guy singlehandedly carried his team to the preplayoff SB favorite. His receivers dropped a ton of passes in the Div game they lost. Give him Deebo Samuel and Emanuel Sanders and he might be playing today.
Can't even see how Jimmy G is even in the discussion. He has a ton to prove to me. He manages a tremendous running attack. 27 TDs to 17 turnovers (13 picks; 4 lost fumbles), especially on a team where play action on a defense cheating to stop the run, is about as special as a Big Mac for Thanksgiving meal.
I'd fire my GM if at this point, he took Jimmy G over Lamar for my expansion team.
I go Lamar and didn’t have to think twice about it
Connor McFuego is so full of himself. Just makes up stuff and deflects when he is wrong.
FIrst we are the GM's and he doesnt like the answers, then he want to know who REAL GM's would choose
Gets reasons he doesnt like so then throws another QB in mix out of nowhere.
You are one deluded MOFO man, no wonder you come on here to argue. people in your real life must really avoid your ass.
Even though Willie99 Closed this thread with his last 2 posts (Mamba Style), It's Lamar for me.
