Another deep state stooge? Say it ain't so.

Andrew McCabe lied to a federal investigator - and admitted it. But now he says sorry and gets to walk free.

Roger Stone is rotting in jail for doing much less than McCabe, not to mention Obama's other DOJ-FBI goons.

When does Rudy get hired to clean up this mess?

Drain the swamp, Mister President and tweet till your heart's content!

Fuck Barr! :>(

Ugh.

Former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe faced scorching criticism and potential criminal prosecution for changing his story about a conversation he had with a Wall Street Journal reporter. Now newly released interview transcripts show McCabe expressed remorse to internal FBI investigators when they pressed him on the about-face.

The FBI released the documents in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by the government watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW). They provide fresh details about the investigation into a leak to the Journal, McCabe’s role in it, and the reaction of agents who investigated it.

In the final weeks of the 2016 presidential campaign, the Journal broke news about an FBI investigation involving then-candidate Hillary Clinton, describing internal discussions among senior FBI officials.

I think Barr is doing the job right, and Durham is the prosecutor, and Trump can be an asshole when he tweets but I still love him. Just trying to keep all the ducks in a row

Trump's tweet looked like he was telling Barr what to do, I fully appreciate Barr's need to elaborate to keep the story straight

It's only over when they say it's over, and if that happens and there are no consequences for anybody, then I'll admit I was wrong.

Nothing has changed my thinking to date

Time to “circle the wagons!”

“The attorney general says it’s getting in the way of doing his job,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell
(R-Ky.) told Fox News anchor Bret Baier. “Maybe the president should listen to the attorney general.“

“Barr doesn’t care where it takes him,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said to Fox’s Sean Hannity.
“He just looks for justice.”

I can't wait to see Barr's recommendation on Stone's sentencing. Anything short of no jail time will be ludicrous
after letting McCabe walk.

I agree. Barr ain't no fool and knows what he's doing. Give him a little more time
and heads are going to roll. He's proven during his career to be on the right side
of the law and these liberal bastards better not get comfortable.

If Barr went after McCabe, that case would wind up in front of the same liberal judge who is about to sentence Stone and McCabe would be judged by a jury of hand picked TDS suffering DC liberals. McCabe could straight up admit he lied, on purpose, then lied about lying, and admit he participated in an attempt to remove Trump, and the jury would find him not guilty in about 10 seconds.

I did wonder if there was a McCabe for Stone backroom deal, but what Barr did absolutely sets him up to let Stone walk.

[FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]Under normal circumstances I'd say the odds were in your favor considering there are
about 20 people involved. But after McCabe gets a pass I see no reasons why the rest
won't either.

You're being played. Enjoy eating your humble pie.

Barr shut the opposition up. He needed to say what he said. Trump had no problem with what he said. (see the White House response.) Trump probably endorsed what Barr said just to muzzle the opposition assholes.

Barr is right. And Trump is right.

Yes, they can both be right.

I hate to burst your bubble but that was all a smokescreen. Barr already knew he was letting McCabe off when he pulled Stone's outrageous sentence recommendation back. So he goes on national TV and tries to stir up some non-controversy about the president's tweets and Roger Stone knowing full McCabe was about to walk. At the end of the day, Barr is a deep state hack just like McCabe.

So lying to investigators is strictly verboten and will get you 7-9 years in the slammer, unless you're a Democrat and happen to work for the DOJ-FBI in which case a simple "I'm sorry" means you walk free.

We live in a corruptocracy, aka...

the problem I have with this , it just feeds the opposition media.. McCabe gets to scream bloody murder for even being accused of anything.. " Nothing to see here " ...but other side has to face the wrath of the same media.. We're the bad guys .. Republicans are the ones committing crimes !

not a good day for our side.. it better change or things will only get worse.

Bring in Rudy !

McCabe better not toot his horn too loudly, he still is not 'out of the woods' with Durham's investigation.

I believe we will see a lot of action after the election, whether Trump wins or loses. There will be a lot of pardons. Rightly so.

Where is the SSCI in all of this? That was formed in the 70's after the Church commission for episodes like this.

Trump should just put his lackey brother in charge like JFK, if he has one.

Some seem to think this is quid pro quo to save Stone. Why would Barr do such a thing when
he holds all the cards? Just make his sentencing recommendation and see what happens.

Worst scenario is Berman Jackson ignores Barr and throws the book at Stone in which case Trump
just pardons him. Same with Flynn. I don't know why Barr is making this so difficult to deal with.
