I have been a member on the RX for over 15 years now and have met alot of great posters on here either at RX Bashes (I wish that this would come back) or by chatting with them on there threads or by PM's.But my question is what is the state of the RX as this place is being filled up by angry posters bitching about this and that, longtime posters who have had enough and left or stopped posting all together. Is the RX just a playground here or does nobody doing anything about it on here I know Hache Man tries but I dont see anybody else maybe Im wrong but I dont see SBR Drew on here as I thought SBR now has the RX or whatever going on with that.I myself would like somebody from management come on here and tell us the future plans for the RX and what changes might occur as in my opinion the RX has changed for the worse and I hate to say that because I like coming here to get info on games or anything else you might think of as just because you dont post in the thread doesn't mean it wasnt read. Thanks in advance for answers to my question on this thread !

My last post was on 9-25-17. I think I'm still on post review which I could care less about. I check in every 3-6 months for the hell of it when I'm bored. The forum is a shell of what it used to be. I don't think SBR is going to implement anything on this forum or they would have years ago.

Ownership & Management had all intentions to to update TheRx.

But they've run into some snags at SBR behind the scenes with many technical issues which have been priority.

I honestly don't know any more details besides that and but will try to get someone to post in here who can be more helpful.

Other than one fake dickhead know-it-all, I think theRX is doing just fine.

Especially when you compare theRX to other forums.

People need to accept that this place isn't going to ever return to it's former peak levels from many years ago.

The decline at this forum came about with UIGEA, NetTeller, and Western Union tightening the noose on being able to easily and cheaply move money around.

Twitter and many other forums are available for posting.

People who win are only going to share so much, if anything.

When the freebies offered here disappeared, a lot of moochers also disappeared.

not much happening here anymore,on the downgrade in action, and to much badgering with others makes it tough to want to come in here a lot,it needs a jolt of 5 hour energy

What you guys have to realize is that sportsforumville is in severe decline. Went to a couple of the other oldies today and they are in worse shape than the RX. Some are gone altogether.

I think when the internet came into its own there were a lot of participants who thought they had found their easy pot of gold - sports gambling with advice from other much wiser gamblers. All Bernie Sanders style - for free. Of course most learned the hard way that just isn't so. There were ways to work your way through the chaff to get to winning but most were not smart enough to figure it out and left broke. Some angry. Some took their anger out on the contributors, which discouraged the contributors. Some had expectations way too high. Some enjoyed connecting with others with a like interest but seem to have moved on as new forms of communication developed like facebook and twitter.

The biggest problem is the seedy side of the game which included forum scammers, forum assholes, and most of all dishonest books. Even the so called good books have often made it very difficult to do business. As a consequence I'm sure advertising revenues for sportsforums are now miniscule making it difficult to sustain the business model. Who has money to pay moderators?

All in all, there has been an oversaturation of gambling which has spread across the Country. It is hard enough to win when the rules are enforced and the payment is immediate. Why bother with sleazy, untrustworthy offshores anymore?

Anyway, decline has been the operative word for sportsforums over the past 10 years or so. I just hope the RX continues as I enjoy interacting with guys (and of course gals) who share my interests and discuss both gambling and the things that affect our lives. I also participate in the contests, something that I don't see most doing. Can't figure out why if you enjoy gambling and competition.

There are also some damned good and interesting people who come here. I hope they continue.

The question was answered, you just had to read between the lines. The place isn't a priority for SBR.

Agree w/ all of this- I love the contests on here. They are great and I really appreciate everyone who runs them! I get its not what it used to be, but its still a great forum with great info.
