stock market to take a beating today?

with business in many cities in China, South Korea, Japan, and northern Italy shutting completely down the Asian and European markets took a slapping today down 1.5-5% ... china is the workshop and supply chain for the world's retailers, electronics, pharma, etc and if they aren't going to work products aren't being made.

expecting domestic markets to see a big sell down today. I'll call for 2%

markets are just opening

other thoughts?

RT, I just bought Ford at $7.68 and if it goes lower (hoping) I'll purchase
more. I also own Ford at a high of $9.70. The stock is a long term deal
for me.

DJIA and S&P both down 3.2% after 2.5 hours, hopefully will make a rebound and only drop 1.5-2%

of course my bi-annual meeting with the financial advisor is on Tuesday so i get to see the personal disaster to my accumulated wealth...

Zika dropped the market nearly 15% over 2 months, SARS was 13%, Ebola was 6% but those were all largely Africa or South America .... this one in Asia, the world's supply chain center, will likely be worse.

no idea why you invoke Trump into this but i guess it's part of the life of a Never Trumper. only a TDS patient would be masturbating about losing >10% of their stock value this week

I dont see what the big panic is its more contagious than the flu but the illness is just like the flu & only the very old & weak could die from it....In my opinion blown way out of proportion....They say wash your hands,cover when you cough & if you come down with it stay home....To make the stock market go down like this is rediculous....Part of it is probably the Communist Democrats & their socialism schtick...

eventually the timing will work out.. Most likely a huge rebound by late spring and summer which will give the momentum back for Trump

You cant touch your 401k (without penalty) until you reach the age of 59 1/2. I said "under 50" as they cant touch their 401k for another 10 years so it really doesnt matter how their 401k is doing at the moment

It was 15,000 when Trump was inaugurated its still 25,000 thats the biggest increase in that amount of time that I can remember....I have nothing to gripe about....I have an annuity geared with S & P 500....Im not going to whine about it I know it will eventually go back up...
