Looking Back at Week 3:

Houston 34 @ Tampa Bay 27:

  • QB Walker and WR Phillips Look like stars of the league
  • Trestman’s offense finally showed some life

Dallas 24 Seattle 12:

  • 2 weeks in a row Dallas played a good second half
  • Seattle continues to struggle to generate offense

New York 9 St. Louis 29:

  • STL Kick Return TD
  • NY Coach looks in way over his head

DC 9 LA 39:

  • Wow - LA looked way better than we’ve seen and played inspired football
  • DC looked great in 2 home games against Seattle and NY, but looked brutal on the road. Not sure what to make of them

  • Both teams have an extra day of prep.

DC (2-1) @ Tampa Bay (0-3) - (Line: DC - 1.5, o/u 44.5)

  • #3 DC Offense vs #8 TB Defense
  • #6 TB Offense vs #2 DC Defense
  • TB extra game to prepare

My Power Rankings

  1. Houston (3-0) - Only undefeated team and #1 ranked offense and defense
  2. St. Louis (2-1) - Great home crowd and big road win over Dallas
  3. Dallas (2-1) - 2-0 with Jones at QB and now going home for showdown with Dallas
  4. LA (1-2) - Destroyed DC in Week 3. Trending up with Johnson at QB
  5. DC (2-1) - Not sure what to make of them right now. Huge bounce back game @ TB
  6. Seattle (1-2) - No offense, but at least able to hang around in these games
  7. Tampa Bay (0-3) - Showed signs of life in home opener against Houston
  8. New York (1-2) - Big time dysfunctional team

Flowers is out for TB so Murray is gonna be back at QB

Thoughts on DC? I mean they had 1 bad game, D is still a very good unit and Murray was horrible week 1 vs NY (clearly worst team in the league) and he sucked in the AAF too.

Yeah DC got drilled @ LA, guess it depends how much weight you put into that performance.

I guess TB is trying to keep it under wraps who is starting out of Murray and Cornelius. Only spark their offense has had all year has been w/ Flowers under center though.

With the news about Flowers I think I’m gonna lock in DC. I see on Twitter that Murray isn’t quite ready

I’d actually feel better backing DC if Murray was playing. Holding off for now

I've watched about 90% of the games and NY sure looked far better w/ Flowers at QB. He generated virtually all there scoring between him and his RB's and eluded a few sacks with his athletic ability whereby Cornelius is a giant statue in there.

St. Louis is perhaps the most impressive team to me and could easily have been the only 3-0 team if T'amo hadn't thrown a 66 yd. INT brought back inside the 5 resulting in a TD the very next play. He was certain he had a Bonus Play hence why he took the shot. But they have it all: solid and improving QB, great tandem running game and a good defence. Though they did look suspect this past Sunday allowing the NY running backs to gash them up the middle repeatedly.

LA 39-9 was upset of the year but I was not sold on DC nearly as much as the "experts" have been touting them. JJ gives them best hope at QB and their defence was "sick" right out of the gate. The houston running tandem are monsters as well and this duo of WR Cam Phillips and QB PJ Walker are electric.

I am surprised HC Trestmann was not axed this past Sunday as competitive as they were.

Dallas should be solid all year though Landry (whom was a horrible NFL QB) is a perennial slow starter.

Just my .02

I actually didn't think Landry looked that bad in the NFL, #'s were pedestrian but he wasn't awful.

Although whenever he was on the field he usually had Antonio Brown, LeVeon Bell and the Steelers OL.

If he can stop with the stupid TO's their O could be the best in the league up there with Houston. Dunbar and Parham are nice weapons.

Interesting I was thinking TB at 0-3 wasn't going to give max effort tonight, but that was wrong. TB looking pretty good.

Houston seems a decent amount better than everyone else. Starting to look like the AFC East the last 20 years.

STL is good but they've pretty much just beaten who they were supposed to. DC has regressed hard.

I still think Dallas is good but Jones has been a TO machine and is now hurt.

Home teams are outperforming a normal expectation by a pretty decent amount in this...
