Dems not even trying to hide it anymore, it's going to be a real shitshow in Milwaukee this July! His supporters are going to riot when he gets jobbed again.
[h=1]Democratic Leaders Willing to Risk Party Damage to Stop Bernie Sanders[/h]
Interviews with dozens of Democratic Party officials, including 93 superdelegates, found overwhelming opposition to handing Mr. Sanders the nomination if he fell short of a majority of delegates.

WASHINGTON — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Chuck Schumer, the minority leader, hear constant warnings from allies about congressional losses in November if the party nominates Bernie Sanders for president. Democratic House members share their Sanders fears on text-messaging chains. Bill Clinton, in calls with old friends, vents about the party getting wiped out in the general election.

And officials in the national and state parties are increasingly anxious about splintered primaries on Super Tuesday and beyond, where the liberal Mr. Sanders edges out moderate candidates who collectively win more votes.

Dozens of interviews with Democratic establishment leaders this week show that they are not just worried about Mr. Sanders’s candidacy, but are also willing to risk intraparty damage to stop his nomination at the national convention in July if they get the chance. Since Mr. Sanders’s victory in Nevada’s caucuses on Saturday, The Times has interviewed 93 party officials — all of them superdelegates, who could have a say on the nominee at the convention — and found overwhelming opposition to handing the Vermont senator the nomination if he arrived with the most delegates but fell short of a majority.

Such a situation may result in a brokered convention, a messy political battle the likes of which Democrats have not seen since 1952, when the nominee was Adlai Stevenson.

Good. The Democrats will splinter into two parties. The Clinton version and the Bernie / AOC version. The third party of course will be the Trump version Republicans.

THe Trumpsters will overwhelm them at every turn.

Bernie will hand the election to Trump. His supporters will not vote for anyone else, they will cast a write in vote for him or stay home. If Sanders winds up being the candidate, half the Democrats will vote for Trump, so yeah, either way, Trump is winning.

Easier said than done

Depends what you think is the better defensive play on down ballot if you expect to lose Presidency either way.

Rock and a hard place, political parties go through patches like this where their coalitions are fractured and loosely tied together. Dems will be OK in the long run though, they've got destiny on their side. It is a slow burn.

Democrats might realize at this point it’s useless to go against Trump so they might let Bernie burn at the stake on this one. Or, medically episode Bernie either fatally or severely disabled and send in the big gun against Donald Trump. Who’s the big gun you ask? Tom “fucking” Arnold. That’s right you saw it here first, Tom “dipshit” Arnold.

Ok I don’t know but half ass kidding aside I think they’re desperate for anyone but Bernie.

It is like we've discussed Dave, with the Overton window intentionally kept very narrow in scope, the vox populi often overlooks many different variables.

Super delegates already on record saying they won't support Breadline Bernie.

A civil war in the Democrat party is coming.

Maybe I'll change my mind in a few months but as someone holding a nice ticket on Bernie to win, I won't be hedging anytime soon.

Stealing the nomination from him would be down ballot suicide IMO. And ultimately very shortsighted, the Dem party is changing whether they like it or not thanks to demographics. So if donors want to screw him over, they're just delaying reaping what they've already sown.

But that is really only my initial thought, that super delegate report just came about a few days ago.

same split that just happened in Sweden. The left started going too far left with SJW and open borders/migration bullshit so a new faction of moderate liberals started their own party.
